Stop scrubbing air fryers when alternative method melts away stubborn stains in 5 minutes

If you own an air fryer, you’ll know that cleaning it can be a real pain – but one woman has shared a simple hack that will have it looking like new in no time

Air fryers are a clever kitchen gadget, but working out the correct way to clean this appliance is often a mystery. They might be economical on oil usage, but they still create quite a mess, resulting in splashes and grease accumulation like you see on cooker tops and oven doors.

They need regular upkeep to keep producing your favourite meals efficiently. Searching for an easy method to get your air fryer sparkling clean again?

One woman has revealed her cost-effective technique, reports the Express. On the Mrs Hinch Army Cleaning Tips Facebook group, Adrianna Griffin declared that dishwasher tablets are the secret to tackling stubborn marks on air fryers.

These adaptable and effective cleaning products are perfect for anyone looking for quick and uncomplicated cleaning solutions.

Not only do they make washing up simple, but they’re also brilliant for brightening up other parts of the house and various appliances, including air fryers.

Adrianna shared a photo of her immaculate air fryer basket, writing: “Whoever said using a dishwasher tablet for the air fryer is a lifesaver.

“The pieces of food stuck to the tray were impossible to remove with just scrubbing.”

She continued: “Just a five-minute soak with boiling hot water, a rinse and wipe and the job was done. The grease had just melted away.

“I don’t even have a dishwasher, but picked these up very cheap and thought they could be used for some cleaning hacks I’ve seen on this page.”

The mix of enzymes, alkalis, and surfactants in these tablets is brilliant for dealing with grease stains, food marks, and even nasty odours.

These components are not just fantastic for dishwashing but can also be used to fight grease, food, and smells elsewhere.
