Tesco, Morrisons and M&S shoppers can get ‘juiciest’ grapes with simple ‘hack’

A woman has gone viral after sharing her secret shopping method to make sure you always get crunchy and juicy grapes at the store – and people are begging her not to share the fool-proof hack

A woman’s trick for ensuring you always snag crunchy and juicy grapes at the supermarket has taken the internet by storm.

We all know there are different types of apples, pears, or citrus fruits, yet many might overlook the variety in other fruit and veg during their weekly grocery run.

When it comes to grapes, though we commonly distinguish them by colour, usually red and green, there are multiple variants within those colour categories as well.

While the differences between variants may not be clear when looking at the grapes, each type has its own distinct characteristics.

Grape connoisseur generally agree that the crunchier and juicier, the better, and now, a savvy shopper known as WhereLivEats online, has come forward with her top tip for picking the perfect green grapes every time.

In a TikTok video , she instructs: “I’m putting you onto a little grape secret. If you want crispy, crunchy and juicy green grapes, the only variety is not this one, not that one, but it is the AutumnCrisp.”

She proceeded to demonstrate how despite similar packaging for all green grapes, perusing the labels reveals different varieties, ultimately pinpointing the variety ‘AutumnCrisp’ as her chosen pick.

“It is the best, hands down. Go and get it,” she urged her viewers.

She added in the caption of the video: “I’ve found them in Tesco, Morrisons and M&S so far. We love an unsolicited grape hack and yes, I need to find a better hobby.”

Despite Liv’s excitement about sharing her grape hack, people in the comments were not as thrilled, not wanting this secret to become too popular.

“Delete this please!” demanded one user, clearly not keen on sharing the crunchy grapes with the masses.

Echoing this sentiment, another chimed in: “Seconded. I’ve been autumn crisping for weeks & I cannot have them vanish because of this vid.”

A third shared their own tip: “For red grapes get the crimson variety.”

The revelation that there are more than the basic green and red grapes was news to some, with one individual admitting: “I was today years old when I found out there are different varieties of grapes other than green and red.”
