Strictly Come Dancing icon Tess Daly has swapped the British winter for soaking up the sun in Dubai and has been sharing her luxury holiday with her fans
Tess Daly showed off her stunning figure while enjoying a dip in Dubai.
The Strictly Come Dancing host, 55, has shunned the British winter for the United Arab Emirates sun. Tess, who shares two daughters with husband Vernon Kay, showed off her golden locks and matching tan to her 874,000 Instagram followers.
Tess posed in a plunging turquoise swimsuit as she perched on the edge of an infinity pool overlooking Dubai’s skyline. The star co-owns beachwear brand Naia Beach and has been busy keeping her fans updated on the clothing brand’s new collection for 2025.
In another snap, the presenter flashed her smile as she posed while standing in the pool. She captioned the post: “Wish it could be a @naia_beach day, every day.”
Tess’s followers showered the star with praise as one commented: “Great photos, you look wonderful, as another fan said: “The style, shape and colour is beautiful.”
The Strictly Come Dancing star’s famous pals also praised Tess with her BBC co-host Claudia Winkleman sharing a flurry of red heart emojis while It Takes Two host Fleur East added a flame and heart eyes emoji.
Tess and Claudia’s future on Strictly was recently revealed after the BBC show was hit by several scandals. It’s said show bosses were concerned that other broadcasters would nab the pair by offering them lucrative deals.
TV sources claim that having been offered a more attractive contract, it cements the presenting duo’s dedication to the show – and indeed their relationship with the BBC. It’s claimed that the pair had been offered an “enhanced” contract by bosses.
“They’re looking to the future after the past 12 months which have been dogged by claims of misbehaviour behind the scenes by pros Giovanni Pernice and Graziano di Prima,” a source told The Sun. They went on to add: “Now bosses want to draw a line under this troubled chapter in Strictly’s history and focus on the positives – which includes having two women fronting the biggest show on TV, which is something the BBC are very proud of.”
The new contracts also show the “commitment the corporation has to the show,” according to the publication. The BBC declined to comment when approached by the Mirror.
Claudia, who first presented It Takes Two before joining Tess on Strictly, previously revealed the lengths she would go to, to ensure that she would still continue to front the show. She joked: “They’d still have to prise my cold, dead hands off that shiny Glitterball.”
