The cult chub rub tights shoppers have ‘never been so pleased’ about for winter

High fashion isn’t just for people in one particular size – and neither are tights. From basics to bold and beyond, Snag are taking fashion in a more inclusive direction

Shoppers are snapping up tights from a size-inclusive brand this winter. Initially setting out with the aim to create tights that genuinely fit, Snag has broadened its range to include much more than just standard winter warmers.

Snag claims they design with real people in mind, not just for a single standard size. They’re also known for their playful approach to fashion, offering bold colours, funky patterns and seasonal releases that go far beyond basic black.

With recycled yarns, eco-friendly packaging and a focus on creating long-lasting tights, the brand also prioritises sustainability. Snag has garnered a bit of a cult following, with fans often amassing a small collection of their favourite pieces.

Employing a letter-based sizing system that considers height, clothing size and body shape, Snag tights offer a tailor-made fit rather than simply being larger or longer. The brand also provides tips, such as sizing up if you’re between sizes or have a fuller bum and tummy, to ensure tights fit comfortably and provide adequate coverage.

The brand has recently unveiled a new line of tights and chub rub shorts, made from sustainable castor oil. Derived from a renewable crop that requires minimal resources, the oil is converted into a biodegradable, high-performance fibre called Nylon 11 – available in black, red, navy and grey, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The planet-friendly leg wear has been carefully curated to be size inclusive and super comfy

Perfect for vegans, the Snag Castor Oil Tights come in sizes A/B to G with a short F option available. Priced at £14.99 per pair, one satisfied customer described them simply as “great tights, honestly”. For milder weather or evening occasions, the Castor Oil Chub Rub Shorts will enhance bare legs with a radiant finish. Crafted from the identical soft fabric, the £10.99 shorts prevent uncomfortable rubbing.

As winter approaches rapidly, a substantial pair of tights becomes a wardrobe must-have. The Snag Merino Wool Tights retail for £17.99 and serve as the ideal companion for chillier days. Designed to maintain warmth without causing overheating, they feature naturally breathable materials. Manufactured in Italy, they contain 52% wool ensuring a gentle, long-lasting and cosy fit. Offered in sizes A/B through G, they remain secure without sliding down.

Boasting a 4.9 out of five-star rating on the site, customers appear thoroughly delighted. One user commented: “I don’t know what I would do without them,” whilst another remarked: “I bought these tights for winter and I wasn’t disappointed. They look fantastic, feel soft, warm and comfortable.”

Additional standout choices for the approaching cooler period feature Grannies Cable Knit Wool Tights. Sporting a classic appearance and enhanced warmth, they’re offered in various colours and sizes for £17.99. Alternatively, for some October entertainment, the Hallo-Queen tights showcase black mystical crescent moons and stellar patterns in golden glitter, whilst the £11.49 Striped Tights are ideal for aspiring witches.

Should the Snag collection not be quite suitable, Marks and Spencer stock a selection of Body Sensor Body Shaping Opaque Tights. Offered in various sizes, they’re available in different denier options and range from XS to XXL.

Meanwhile at Next, the Wolford Black Velvet De Luxe 66 Tights provide a luxurious touch for winter legs. Incredibly soft with a generous waistband, these highly elastic tights come at a premium price of £35 per pair.

Returning to Snag, shoppers have been posting rave reviews, applauding the brand’s philosophy and considerate designs.

One purchaser commented: “I cannot emphasise enough how amazing these tights are, I’ve thrown every other pair of tights away.”

Another remarked: “I have a draw full of snag tights. I love the design the fit and the feel. I haven’t never been so pleased.”

A third noted: “Love love love all products they fit like a glove last a long time ,wash and dry perfectly. Price is right as well”.

Despite the overwhelming positive response, one shopper observed: “Great colours, great fit. Unfortunately snagged within the first day. No fake nails or strenuous use, just out to dinner and shopping for shorts.”

On the whole, purchasers appear delighted with another five-star assessment stating: “Excellent fit as always with smooth natural colour that means that they can be worn with your favourite dress in the autumn or winter.”
