The Traitors star Mollie Pearce opened up about her time on the show and whether there was a romantic connection with winner Harry Clark
The Traitors star Mollie Pearce has shared how she feels about co-star Harry Clark – who has been embroiled in so-called drama with Charlotte Chilton and her baby with Conor Maynard.
On the BBC programme, Mollie was betrayed by Harry in the final last year. She missed out on the £95k prize fund, which was won by Harry after he impressively fooled the contestants. Many viewers thought she developed feelings for Harry, but she insists she only thinks of him as a friend.
While they were filming the reality show, Mollie and Harry were in relationships of their own. Harry was dating Conor’s sister Anna. Meanwhile, Mollie broke up with her longterm boyfriend in October, revealing that the split was ‘amicable’ and they remain good friends.
And now, a year after the final, Mollie discussed how she really feels about her former co-star Harry – who allegedly ghosted fellow Traitors star Charlotte after she welcomed a baby that she says was fathered by singer Conor.
Speaking to The Sun, she said of whether she thought about a romantic connection with Harry: “No. I don’t think we were even thinking about it, to be honest. It was such a big talking point just because of the way the end played out.”
It comes as Charlotte claimed Harry cut all contact with her after she announced she was expecting a child with Can’t Say No singer Conor. Charlotte and Conor welcomed their daughter in October, with the single mother-of-one star left overjoyed by the arrival of her bundle of joy.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, however, Charlotte has claimed that Harry cut her from his life over her happiness. She said: “That was a real kick in the teeth. The guy stopped speaking to me practically the second I told Conor I was pregnant. I guess the ‘bro code’ kicked in. And we all know, thanks to the show, that he has a ‘bro code’.”
Charlotte continued: “To say I felt devastated would be an understatement. Harry and I were thick as thieves; he was the link to meeting Conor initially, but now there’s Penelope, for whom I’m thankful.” She also recently discussed the struggles of being a single mother and said her friends and family have to help out as she deals with financial issues.
The TV star said that her friends and family ‘break their backs’ offering their support to her and the baby, including helping her pay bills and giving her a place to live as she saves some money.
