The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes makes red carpet debut as a married man at Pride of Britain

By staff20 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes married Charlotte Burke in lavish ceremony before the couple made their Pride of Britain debut as newlyweds

Only hours after announcing he’s gotten married, The Wanted’s Nathan Sykes made his debut as a married man at the Pride of Britain awards today (20 October). He walked the red carpet with his wife Charlotte Burke.

The lovebirds announced their marriage via Instagram earlier today. Dressed in a dapper suit, Nathan was snapped outside Birdsall House, a stately home in Yorkshire.

He was pictured staring lovingly at his wife. Charlotte was dressed in an A-line white dress with wide sleeves and a long veil. She held a bouquet of red roses.

Hours the picture was posted, Nathan and Charlotte headed to the Pride of Britain awards, where he was pictured in a black suit and Charlotte was snapped in a floor-length dark red gown with sleeves that also grazed the carpet.

Nathan proposed in 2022. He popped the question during a holiday in St Lucia. The beach where he chose to propose turned out to be the same beach where Charlotte’s parents got married.

Posting photos to Instagram, Nathan said: “A few nights ago I took @_charlotteburke_ to the same beach in Saint Lucia that her parents got married on many years ago to ask her a certain question and … She Said Yes!!!”

After announcing he’d tied the knot, fans flooded the comments with congratulations. “You both look perfect,” one wrote. “I hope the day was everything you both hoped for and more. Cheers to a future of pure happiness.”

Another wrote: “Beautiful! Congratulations to the both of them”. A third wrote: “You both look absolutely beautiful, the perfect couple. Such a wonderful photo. Sending you all my love and best wishes.”

While Nathan was at the Pride of Britain awards, his former bandmates Max George and Siva Kaneswaran reunited in Las Vegas to perform their first ever show there. The two have formed The Wanted 2.0.

The original band went on hiatus in 2014 but reunited for a charity concert in 2021 after bandmate Tom Parker was diagnosed with brain cancer. Tom died in 2022.
