If you or a loved one with the PS5 on their wishlist for Christmas this Black Friday beating Cyber Monday deal has cut £90 off the Sony console – but it won’t be around for long
Black Friday has officially been and gone but if you’re still scouring around for a last minute deal Cyber Monday will likely have you covered. The next global sale date in the calendar is here which sees left over stock cut even more in price…and for PS5 fans it means a cheaper price on the console.
Sony is still running the last legs of its Black Friday sale and anyone who bought the console here last week (and still available today) would have paid £324.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition Console – down from the usual £389.99. However, an offer we’ve spotted today at Very cuts the price even further to £309, a £94.98 saving – which you can buy here.
With nearly £100 cut down off the original price it’s also £15.99 cheaper than Sony’s own price, despite having the exact same 1TB of storage, ‘Slim Design’, ray tracing (for a more realistic image), and an ultra-high speed SSD. The only catch for shoppers is there isn’t too much time to think about it – as it runs out soon.

In line with the other Very Cyber Monday deals – like this Apple-rivalling iPhone 16 deal – the PS5 deal runs out at 11:59 December 2. As the time starts to dwindle on Black Friday an increase of shoppers have started to add it to their basket and checkout as the listing says “100+ purchased in the last 24 hours”.
It’s not the only PS5 discount to be found on the site either, as the PS5 Disc Console and Grand Theft Auto Bundle is reduced from £499 to £419 – an £80 saving. However, this does come with a slightly smaller amount of storage space of 825GB.
Shoppers at Very have called out their favourite features of this slimmer PS5 Digital Edition Console, as one person said: “Amazing, sleek body, works perfect, comes nicely packaged and fast delivery”, while another buyer said: “Outstanding graphics and great gameplay.”
Other shoppers left comments regarding their experience using Very too: “Excellent delivery, fast, and was kept up to date throughout. Will definitely use again”, said another shopper.
However, as with most gaming consoles it’s likely the graphics and design choices won’t be to everyone’s taste, “The newer slim models were supposed to have 1TBof usable hard drive unlike the 800GB of the original. I seem to have the 800GB of usable drive though”, said one shopper who raised a question for the storage space of the model.
Eagle eyed gamers will also notice the small catch to both deals, as the two are both slightly outdated against the newest PS5 Pro model. The newer Pro model came out in the UK on November 7 so technically is the ‘best’ PS5 model you can currently buy – and it’s refreshed memory and Compare Units will likely feel more snappy – but of course it comes with the controversial no disk drive update.
If you want to get your hands on the flagship PS5 Pro model then you can look at Argos and Amazon.
