Three Mobile has hit troubles for the second time in a week as thousands complain they can’t access a signal.
If your Three-powered smartphone isn’t working today you are not alone. It appears that the popular UK provider is having troubles yet again. This new outage comes just a few days after users were also left without a phone signal. The latest problems appear to have begun at around 11 am today with thousands of reports flooding in from across the UK.
Down Detector, which monitors outages around the world is showing around 12,000 reports of issues at its peak meaning this is a serious problem affecting plenty of people.
Speaking on Down Detector’s forum, one angry user named Danny said: Another day of losing connection, I’m not even getting the full speed on 5g anymore. Used to get over 100mb per second now I’m just barely getting 50mb at most. Glad I can just quit unlike so many that fall into a 12 or 24-month contract. Feel sorry for you.”
Another, called Paul, added: “Three down again in the North West, been with them 2 weeks and nothing but problems, tried cancelling and they threatened that I would have to pay for the entire 2-year contract. their service is a joke.”
Three has now confirmed that it is having issues. In a message posted on X, formerly Twitter, the network said: “Some customers may be experiencing issues with our network this morning. Our engineers are working hard to fix it. This issue is also impacting customer service, so please check back here for the latest updates.”
Reports of Three’s signal gremlins are beginning to fall so hopefully a full service will be resumed soon.
