Tiger Woods has announced he is in a relationship with Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr, after speculation that the couple had been dating for several months
Golf icon Tiger Woods has confirmed he is dating Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law Vanessa. Following reports claiming that the pair have been together for several months, Woods broke his silence with a post on social media.
After sharing a series of pictures alongside his new partner, Woods wrote: “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
Vanessa is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr, having been married to the son of the US president between 2005 and 2018. The couple have five children together, including eldest daughter Kai who is a competitive golfer.
Kai, 17, attends the same school as Woods’ children Sam and Charlie. Charlie is also a competitive golfer looking to follow in his father’s footsteps and both he and Kai competed at the Junior Invitational tournament earlier this month.

Woods has also played golf with Donald Trump on multiple occasions, with the 15-time major winner awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Trump in 2019.
He also met with Trump in February to discuss the future of the sport following the rise of the controversial Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour.
Earlier this month, Woods revealed he is set to miss the Masters next month after rupturing his Achilles. “As I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home, I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles, which was deemed to be ruptured,” Woods said.
“This morning, Dr. Charlton Stucken of Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida performed a minimally-invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon.
“I am back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab, thank you for all the support.” Dr Stucken added that Woods is expected to make a “full recovery”.
The announcement came after Woods admitted that he was not enjoying practicing, stating: “This is the third time I’ve touched a club since my mom passed, so I haven’t really got into it. My heart is really not into practicing right now.
“I’ve had so many other things to do with the Tour and trying to do other things. Once I start probably feeling a little bit better and start getting into it, I’ll start looking at the schedule.”
It remains to be seen when Woods will return to the green, but his latest injury means he is now expected to miss all four majors this year.
