Virgin Media is handing out the free Xbox to shoppers who do one thing before Sunday
With PS5 Pro pre-orders, PlayStation’s 30th Anniversary edition console and the free Xbox Series S deal, it’s safe to say it’s been a busy week of deals. And it’s nearly over, as there are a few hours to go until Virgin Media stops handing free Xbox to shoppers.
You read that right, the broadband and TV provider is currently giving away a free Xbos Series S for those who take out one of its plans. And if gaming isn’t your thing then there’s the choice to cut down your annual fee with a bill credit amount of £150….although picking the free Xbox is bigger value for money as they usually go for £249.99.
Keen gamers may be turning their attention away from the PS5 Pro demand and looking at Virgin’s free Xbox Series S, but there’s a limited time left to do it. Shoppers have until this Sunday, October 13 to take out a plan…and we have all the details.

You’ll need to pick one of these plans, all of which will lock you in for a fixed 18-month contract. Precisely the Bigger Movie Combo, Bigger Combo + Sports HD plan, or the Mega Volt package. All offering different things for shoppers.
As the name suggests, the Mega Volt Package is one to pick if your household loves watching a bit of everything, films and sports included. At £84.99 per month – that’s £1,529.82 after the full 18 months – it includes M500 broadband, more than 200 TV channels, and an unlimited O2 SIM this package is for both sport and cinema fans and includes both of the popular Sky channels…all in HD.
Next up is the Bigger Combo + Sports HD, which has M500 Fibre broadband, Sky Sports channels in HD and again, more than 200 normal TV channels. A huge perk to Virgin offering Sky TV is users don’t have to lock into Sky’s lengthier 24-month plans.
At £60.99 per month, the Bigger Movie Combo bundle is the cheapest package and one for film fans – it comes with M125 Fibre Broadband, 11 Sky Cinema TV channels in HD and more than 200 regular TV channels.
As we mentioned above, a benefit to this Virgin Media deal (apart from the free Xbox) is the plan length, as shoppers are tied into a short 18-month contract opposed to Sky’s longer 24-month plan. However, this does come with an added cost.
Sky are not currently offering the same freebie Xbox but their prices are slightly cheaper. For instance the 300 Full Fibre broadband and Sky Stream TV plan is £40 per month.
