Top Tech: Amazon Prime Day sale sees Fire TVs, tablets and more cheaper than Black Friday

By staff7 October 2025No Comments4 Mins Read

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale is running across October 7-8 and shoppers can bag big discounts on a range of tech.

Amazon’s latest Prime Day sale is here, and shoppers can save hundreds on the retailer’s own tech range. The Prime Big Deal Days sale is live now through to 11.59pm on Wednesday, with prices slashed on thousands of items including TVs, tablets, and smart speakers.

Included in the sale are Amazon’s Fire devices, many of which are now at their cheapest price since Black Friday 2024. This includes Amazon’s flagship Fire TV Stick range, as well as Fire TVs and Fire tablets.

The latest price cuts are available exclusively for Amazon Prime members, but can also be secured by signing up for an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. With that, we’ve hand-picked our favourite deals on Amazon tech available now in the Prime Big Deal Days sale.

Here’s a selection of Amazon devices in the sale.

Amazon Fire Max 11 – £129.99 (£249.99)

Amazon’s 64GB Fire Max 11 tablet is now 47% off, the lowest price since Black Friday, according to price tracker camelcamelcamel. Ideal for streaming, gaming or browsing the web without breaking the bank, the device has an 11” screen with 2.4 million pixels.

It also boasts 8MP front and rear cameras capable of capturing 1080p HD videos, while its aluminium body is said to be ‘as thin as a pencil’. One caveat to this deal is that it’s for the ‘with ads’ model, but shoppers can secure the ad-free model for £10 more.

Apple fans may prefer the brand’s latest entry-level tablet, the iPad 2025, which Sky Mobile offers on a £10.50 plan when spreading the cost.

Usually £8.99 per month, shoppers can now try it free with a 30-day trial.

Amazon Fire Omni QLED 4K TV – £289.99 (was £549.99)

Also down to its cheapest price since Black Friday is this 43” Amazon Fire Omni QLED 4K Fire TV, now 47% off. Despite being a more budget-friendly QLED TV, this model offers ‘true-to-life’ colours, shadows and detail, with Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ delivering deeper and more realistic colours.

One key feature is adaptive brightness, which uses a built-in sensor to automatically optimise the image depending on the lighting in a room and reduces glare on brighter days. Shoppers looking for a larger TV can also find discounts on the 50” model (£359.99) and 55” model (£409.99).

It’s worth noting that, despite buyers hailing this TV as ‘very hard to beat for the price’, it may not outperform higher-end models like Samsung’s QLED Q7F 4K Vision AI Smart TV (£399).

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max – £39.99 (was £69.99)

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is touted as the retailer’s ‘most powerful streaming stick’ and is now more than 40% off. Reduced from £69.99 to £39.99, this marks a record low price for the model that delivers 4K Ultra HD image quality for watching the latest blockbuster films and series.

It also offers support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos audio, with smoother streaming thanks to Wi-Fi 6E support. With this model, gamers can benefit from the Xbox app, 16GB of storage – double that of the lower models – and easy access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and more.

However, these are not included for free and can only be accessed with a paid subscription. There are also discounts on the Fire TV Stick HD (£19.99) and Fire TV Stick 4K (£25.99), with shoppers able to effectively reduce the price of the HD model down to £4.55 by creating a free TopCashback account and securing a £15 sign-up bonus plus cashback.

Amazon Echo Dot – £29.99 (was £54.99)

Last up is the latest generation of Amazon’s smart speaker, the Amazon Echo Dot. With 45% off, this gadget is now at its lowest price since Christmas, offering hands-free streaming of music, podcasts and audiobooks for a fraction of the usual price.

This model delivers higher quality audio compared to older variants and can be used with Alexa voice control around the house, as well as being compatible with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and Apple iOS and Android devices. As well as music, the gadget can also provide news and weather updates, as well as let users control compatible smart devices.

Amazon’s deal now undercuts a rival deal from Wowcher, which recently began offering the same Echo Dot model for £39.99.
