Some buyers were disappointed that some features are only available with a Ring Home subscription, as this reviewer said: “Great doorbell and great price. It’s just a shame you have to pay for a subscription.”

Those seeking a more affordable alternative can pick up the eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, now half price at £99.99 in an early Prime Day deal, while Shark has knocked £100 off its Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Self-Empty Robot Vacuum and Mop at £399.99 when buying direct.

But the roborock vacuum has achieved a 4.5-star rating, with one glowing review saying: “It’s brilliant. A real game changer. The build quality of the vac and the dock are excellent, and the setup and app are all well thought out too. It does a really good job of mopping and vacuuming, and is incredibly persistent; if it can fit in a gap under something, it will clean it.”

Another said: “The roborock has transformed my home cleaning routine. Its intelligent navigation and powerful suction are impressive, handling both hard floors and rugs with ease and precision. The mopping feature is fantastic.”

It may not be for everyone, as this buyer said: “If you have hard floors or vinyl flooring this is perfect. However, if you have a rug with high pile it will not work.”

Another said: “The coffee tastes so much good, machine has an amazing sleek design and is very user friendly. I have the atelier machine as well but the vertuo line makes better coffee with lots of crema.”

This more mixed review says: “Looks nice but the coffee doesn’t come out very hot and the pods for This machine are so expensive”.
