Google has unveiled its latest line of smartphones with the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The tech giant revealed the new additions to its line-up at the Made By Google event in New York City on Wednesday, and now Sky Mobile is handing out up to £250 to shoppers who upgrade to the Pixel 10 series.

The Pixel 10 range is due to launch on August 28, with prices starting at £799 for the standard Pixel 10 and £1,199 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. There’s already plenty of deals and price cuts flying around from the likes of Three, O2 and Vodafone, but those preferring to spread the cost with one of Sky’s monthly contracts can claim a £250 trade-in bonus on top of the value of their old phone.

Shoppers don’t have to send off their old phone first to claim the bonus, but the trade-in process must be started within 14 days of purchase. However, pre-orders must be secured by September 11 to be eligible for the deal.

It’s worth noting that the full £250 trade-in bonus is available with the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, while shoppers opting for the standard Pixel 10 will receive a £200 bonus. Sky’s plans start at £24 for the Pixel 10 rising to £29 for the Pixel 10 Pro and £37 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL.

Each model has a £12 upfront cost and comes with 100MB of data, but shoppers needing a bigger allowance can choose from several pre-order SIM deals including 3GB for £6 or 50GB for £12. To sweeten the deal further, Sky shoppers can get free access to Google AI Pro for six or 12 months, providing new features in the Gemini app, NotebookLM, and Gemini in Gmail, plus 2TB of cloud storage.

Sky Mobile is giving shoppers a trade-in bonus up to £250 on top of the value of their old phone when ordering the Google Pixel 10.

Sky isn’t the only retailer handing out freebies though, as Currys-backed retailer Mobiles.co.uk is offering a mega bundle packed with a free Google Premium Subscription, a £100 Currys gift card and a pair of Buds 2 Pro. Prices start at £29.99 per month for the standard Pixel 10, with £59 upfront on iD Mobile’s 100GB tariff.

Elsewhere, Amazon is giving away a £100 Google Play gift code and 60-day free trial of Audible Premium Plus when buying the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL outright at £799, £999 and £1,199 respectively. Each model in the Pixel 10 series is powered by Google’s new Tensor G5 chip and latest Gemini Nano AI model, boasting a refreshed design with tough Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back.

They also have upgraded cameras, a 24-hour battery and a choice of new colours including frost, lemongrass and indigo. For shoppers securing their Pixel 10 pre-order from Sky Mobile, the network has earned many five-star reviews from happy customers on Trustpilot.

Sky Mobile will give shoppers up to £250 extra if they upgrade to the Pixel 10 range.

One said: “I ordered a new phone and switched to Sky Mobile. I got a good deal, and porting my old mobile number was easy. I’m really happy with their service.”

Another said: “The Sky Mobile customer support team have always been super helpful and friendly, really cannot fault them.”

This Sky customer had a more mixed experience, saying: “Sky Mobile I can’t recommend as they’ve configured their LTE/4G calling service to sound like 2G. Customer services were great, however.

While another glowing review said: “Absolutely fantastic service from Sky Mobile, fantastic deal and fab price. Absolutely faultless service from start to finish and by far the most competitive price on the market. At last, a mobile provider who gets it right.”
