Amazon Fire TV Stick

Countless shoppers have been treating themselves to a new Fire TV Stick since Amazon unveiled discounts across its entire range. There’s price drops on each model of the device to suit any budget or need, from the Fire TV Stick Lite to the 4K Max.

Prices start at £21.99 for the Lite model, but it’s the 4K Max at £44.99 – down from £69.99 – which has proved immensely popular. This version plugs straight into a TV’s HDMI port to give access to top streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video, with content available 4K UHD, plus support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos audio.

Hisense smart TV

Hisense TVs are always a big seller when Amazon has a sale on, and this Black Friday is no different. Hisense offers a range of budget-friendly smart TVs that are great alternatives to more expensive brands like Samsung, and shoppers have been bagging themselves a new 4K model that’s more than £100 off.

One of the biggest sellers is this 4K UHD LED TV, with prices now starting at £229 for the 43” model, £120 off the usual £349. There’s also discounts on the 55” model at £309 and 65” model at £429.

Each model boasts 4K Ultra HD picture quality powered by Dolby Vision, as well as the ability to upscale non-4K content. It also has immersive sound with DTS Virtual: X and smooth, fluid gaming thanks to Game Mode PLUS.

Amazon Fire Max 11

Black Friday shoppers looking for a bargain on a new tablet have been making the most of Amazon’s half price deal on the Fire Max 11. The device is currently 50% off for the 64GB model at £124.99 – down from £249.99 – a great deal on what Amazon says is its ‘most powerful’ tablet ever.

The Fire Max 11 is an affordable gadget that doesn’t scrimp on quality, as it has an 11” screen with 2.4 million pixels which deliver crystal clear detail whether streaming or gaming. Despite its slim body – which Amazon says is ‘as thin as a pencil’ – it boasts a long-lasting battery which can run for up to 14 hours, while its 8MP front and rear cameras are ideal for video calls and 1080p HD video recording.

Amazon has also reduced the Fire Max 11 128GB to £164.99, down from £289.99.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2

Security conscious shoppers have been snapping up Samsung’s popular Bluetooth trackers. The handy little gadgets can be attached to valuable items so you can track them down if misplaced, whether that’s keys, wallets or travel luggage.

They can even be clipped onto a pet’s collar so you can keep track of their whereabouts. Amazon is currently offering Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 four-pack for £44 – a saving of £65.99 from the usual price of £109.99 – with a single SmartTag2 reduced to £14 – down from £39.99.

Meta Quest 3

Plenty of gamers have been getting their hands on Amazon’s Meta Quest 3 deal, which has seen the mixed reality headset slashed by more than £150. The Meta Quest 3 512GB model is currently on offer at £468.48, a saving of £151.51 from the usual £619.99.

Customers will also bag a copy of the new Batman: Arkham Shadow game and a three-month trial of Meta Quest+ – which includes two free games each month – absolutely free. Meta says the Quest 3 is its ‘most powerful’ mixed reality headset that boasts ‘next-level’ performance and more than double the graphic processing power of the Quest 2.

Tapo smart plugs

Black Friday comes at an opportune time for the finance-savvy, as there’s a range of tech products designed to help keep energy bills down over winter. Many shoppers have been investing in smart plugs, a handy gadget that allows you to control electronics around the house remotely via smartphone or voice control.

One of Amazon’s biggest sellers in this category is the Tapo smart plugs, which can be used to ensure plugged-in devices aren’t using power unnecessarily, as well as providing usage reports so you can monitor your spend. The Tapo smart plugs are currently reduced in Amazon’s Black Friday sale, with a four-pack available for £26, almost half the usual £47.99.

The Tapo twin-pack is also on offer at £15.49 – down from £23.99 – while a single smart plug is down to £9.99 from £16.99.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

Even in the Black Friday sales, getting your hands on a premium tablet can still cost a bob or two, luckily, we’ve spotted a popular deal from Sky Mobile that lets you spread the cost of a new Samsung tablet on a plan that works out at £1 per day.

Sky has unveiled a £108 price drop on the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, offering it at £31 when spreading the cost rather than the usual £34. Sky is also throwing in a free Samsung AI Book Cover Keyboard worth £339.99, which can be used to convert the tablet into a laptop with a physical keyboard.

This is something we spotted when looking at previous Amazon shoppers reviews on Trustpilot: “Several times my packages have been delivered to the wrong door. When I inquired about it they asked did I check with my neighbors?”

Another person aired caution about delated deliveries: “My packages keep getting delayed. I had a pack that got delayed by three day recently right before going a trip, so I couldn’t even use what I ordered on my trip.” Recent Sky shoppers also pointed out a delivery mishap: “They send our router in the post but it never comes, it won’t let me track the delivery or organise a redelivery.”
