Samsung and Sky Mobile customers can bag £100 cashback this month

Samsung has kicked off the summer with another giveaway where shoppers can get their hands on £100 and a selection of freebies. The tech giant is offering the deal to those picking up a new smartphone in the Galaxy S24 range direct from Samsung or through Sky Mobile.

However, the deal has entered the final week before it expires on Tuesday, June 24. Shoppers looking to spread the cost of a new phone can get the Samsung Galaxy S24 on Sky’s £25 plan, after which they can claim £100 cashback.

The plan runs for 36 months with the option to upgrade after 24, but the £100 essentially covers four months of service. To get the £100 cashback, shoppers can head to the Samsung offers website after receiving their new device to submit a claim within 30 days of purchase.

However, those who would prefer to buy the phone outright can get a sweeter deal, with Samsung offering £100 cashback plus a free Galaxy Watch7 worth £239 when buying direct. Samsung lists the Galaxy 24 for £699, matching the price offered by Amazon and Very.

Shoppers looking to keep costs down can claim £100 with orders of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, which also comes with a free pair of Galaxy Buds3 worth £159. This model is designed as a more budget-friendly version of the standard S24, but it has the same 6.7” screen as the larger S24+ model and 128GB of storage.

The S24 FE is slightly cheaper than the standard S24, with Sky Mobile offering it for £23 when spreading the cost. Samsung has priced the same model at £649 and will throw in a free Galaxy Watch7 to those buying directly.

Despite its cheaper price, the Galaxy S24 FE boasts the same 4.5-star review score as the standard S24. However, according to the Samsung website, 90% of reviewers recommend the S24 FE compared to 74% for the S24.

Of the FE, one five-star review says: “Everything about this device is flawless. Smooth and vibrant screen. Fabulous camera.

“Connects fast and performs like a speedy tank. The battery could be better, but other than that. Flawless phone.”

Another says: “I love my new phone it charges really quickly and lasts all day. I love the display – I can see every icon and they are easy to find. The camera is fantastic and I love the design of the phone. The performance is amazing, everything is quicker, it’s the best phone I’ve had.”

Some users have been disappointed with the S24 FE’s battery life, as this three-star review says: “I like this phone, however, it does require frequent charging and takes far too long to charge at three hours.”

But another five-star review says: “Excellent all-round phone. Really clear, bright display with excellent battery life.

“The camera is clear and provides quality photos and video. The overall performance and modern internals mean that you don’t suffer from any issues, no matter what you are trying to do. All wrapped up in a sleek design makes the Samsung S24 FE a worthy choice for anyone.”
