Sky Mobile’s latest smartwatch deals, allow shoppers to split the cost on Apple, Samsung and Google gadget for only pennies per day – and here’s how
Smart watches have become a common sight, with many of us taking the convenience of a smartphone and with a little gadget that that can make calls and check social media right from the wrist. But as the most sought after models comes from some of the world’s biggest tech brands, it’s no surprise they often come with a hefty price tag.
Luckily, we’ve found a way to get your hands on one of these devices without paying hundreds of pounds all at once. That’s because Sky lets shoppers spread the cost of a new watch from the likes of Apple, Samsung and Google.
Some of the most attractive deals include the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 for £9 per month or the Apple Watch Series 10 for £13 per month, both with nothing to pay upfront. It makes it a go-to brand for cost-splitting tech shoppers along with rivals, including EE and O2.

This works out that the Samsung costs 30p per day when broken down over 30 days, with the Apple Watch costing roughly 43p per day. There are even more budget-friendly options available, like the Apple Watch SE for £7 per month – or 23p per day – and the Google Pixel Watch 3 for £10.
The main thing to consider with these deals is that to get these prices means signing up for a 36-month contract. However, the total price you pay over the life of the plan is not always a huge difference from buying outright.
Sky’s £9 Samsung Galaxy Watch7 plan comes to a total of £324 on the 36-month plan, £35 more than buying it outright from Samsung for £289. Comparatively, the £13 Apple Watch plan comes to £468 at the end of the plan, £69 more than Apple’s £399 asking price.
While paying less is always the preferred option, spreading the cost may be a better choice for those looking to invest in a new smartwatch without inflicting too much damage on the wallet. Sky offers shorter plans of 12 or 24 months, but this will increase the monthly payment price.
For those who are happy to pay upfront to keep their monthly bills down, there are several retailers offering discounts on the smartwatches we’ve mentioned. Amazon is just one site where the Apple Watch Series 10 is reduced to £349, with Argos and Very following suit.
There’s also a way to bag a bigger discount on Argos’ price with a deal stacking method from TopCashback which we covered earlier this month here. If Android is more your thing, there’s plenty of wallet-friendly Samsung smartwatches reduced at Amazon, like the Galaxy Fit3 for £39.50 – down from £69 – but keep in mind this is more of a health and fitness tracker and cannot be used for making calls or sending texts.
