Vodafone is knocking hundreds off Apple, Samsung and Google smartphones in its Black Friday 2025 sale.

The iPhone 17 and Samsung Galaxy S25 are among the discounted smartphones.

Vodafone has unveiled its Black Friday 2025 sale. Until December 1, shoppers can find hundreds of pounds slashed off the latest phones from Apple, Samsung and Google.

Among the discounts up for grabs are £576 off a Samsung Galaxy S25 and £117 off the brand-new iPhone 17 Pro. Giving Vodafone an old phone can also lead to more savings up to £510 with the brand’s trade-in deal, but are all the deals in its Black Friday sale worth it?

We’ve compared Vodafone’s prices with rival deals from the likes of Sky and EE to see which comes out on top. One of the most eye-catching Vodafone deals is on the Samsung Galaxy S25, which has plummeted by £576.

Samsung’s flagship phone now comes in at £24 per month (was £40) and £30 upfront on the 5GB Xtra plan, delivering download speeds of up to 100Mbps with free data boosters and picture messages. This is a close rival to Sky Mobile, where the S25 comes in at £22 per month and £12 upfront.

The above Sky plan, however, only comes with a small 100MB data allowance. Apple fans may want to check out the £396 discount on an iPhone 16e plan at £22.50 per month (was £33.50) and £30 upfront.

Vodafone has slashed £576 off its Galaxy S25 contract in the Black Friday sale.

This affordable sibling to the standard iPhone 16 launched earlier this year, offering premium Apple features with a cheaper price tag and a 1GB data allowance in Vodafone’s deal. However, Vodafone can’t match Sky Mobile’s price, where the 1GB data comes in at a cheaper £19 per month and £12 upfront.

There’s also a big discount on a model from the latest iPhone series, the iPhone 17 Pro, with six months half price on an unlimited data airtime plan. This comes in at £51.50 per month over the first six months plus £40 upfront, but we found something better.

After the promotional period, customers securing this deal will see their bills revert to the usual £73.50 per month, far more than Sky Mobile’s £56 unlimited plan. Another rival deal comes from EE, where £78.29 per month and £30 upfront gets customers unlimited data and a free extra like Apple TV or Apple Music.

Elsewhere, shoppers seeking the standard iPhone 17 on a no-frills plan could opt for giffgaff’s £35.67 per month unlimited data plan. Those happy with their current handset can also find deals on Vodafone’s SIM plans, with the Unlimited Plus SIM only reduced from £33 to £24 per month.

This provides savings of £216 over the 24-month term, but can’t match the price of Sky’s unlimited SIM, now it’s slashed from £29 to £20. One thing to consider is that budget-friendly providers like Sky or giffgaff may not provide the same coverage as more premium networks like Vodafone.

That’s because its customers can also use Three’s network automatically, providing coverage from two networks at no extra cost. But for shoppers simply looking for the cheapest price, Vodafone can’t beat Sky in many of the Black Friday deals we’ve seen.
