Triple sauce dispenser lets you can squirt ketchup, mayo and mustard in one

Aldi has brought out a triple cause dispenser so people no longer have to pick between between three of the nation’s most loved sauces

Aldi has launched a triple-sauce dispenser – so indecisive Brits can squirt ketchup, mayo and mustard on their BBQ grub at the same time.

The budget-friendly supermarket designed the culinary contraption, dubbed The Mighty Trio, so foodies can enjoy a perfect combination of all three flavours with their favourite food. The bottle is launching as research reveals 70% of experimental Brits like to mix multiple sauces together. Ketchup and mayo is the go-to mash-up for 43% of those quizzed, while three in five (59%) whip up their own custom blends at home. The survey also revealed 24% of condiment-loving Brits whip up their own saucy creations at home ‘regularly’.

In light of this, unsurprisingly almost three-quarters (72%) of Brits are eager to try the new device that serves all three sauces at once. The UK is a country fiercely divided over sauce habits, with a third (32%) admitting they’d end a date over a condiment clash, while half (54%) believe a relationship can survive differing sauce loyalties.

It appears compatibility isn’t just about star signs anymore, with 40% saying sauce preferences reveal something about a person’s personality.

The ultimate dealbreaker this summer is a sauce-free BBQ with 84% admitting they’d consider marching out of one with no ketchup. But not everyone’s mixing it up – with a quarter preferring to keep sauces completely separate.

A horrified 15% say ketchup on pasta should be outlawed altogether – just one of the many ‘sauce crimes’ Brits have witnessed. Top culinary offenses include drizzling sauce on ice cream (14%), a roast dinner (12%), fruit (11%) and even cereal (10%).

The judgement doesn’t stop at what you pair your sauce with, but also how you apply it with three in five admitting to being ‘dippers’. Nearly half (45%) admit to secretly judging how others apply sauce – whether it’s the quantity, technique or the ‘on top’ approach rather than dipping.

Perhaps this explains why Brits don’t trust others to sauce their food, with 72% saying they feel ‘anxious’ when someone else does it for them.

One-third (32%) have even skipped asking for a sauce at a restaurant to avoid judgement while 42% confessed to packing their own bottles when travelling or dining out.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “It’s clear that Brits love their condiments with a huge number of sauce mixologists whipping up their own concoctions at home.

“The Mighty Trio is Aldi’s answer to the BBQ juggling act, giving you all three classic condiments in one easy squeeze. It’s practical, fun, and the ultimate hack for anyone who likes their hot dogs, burgers or chips with a little bit of everything.”

To enter the competition to win a trio sauce bottle, shoppers should email [email protected] with their full name before August 28th 2025.
