An urgent hunt is under way for three missing children who are thought to have vanished on a camping trip.

South Wales Police confirmed on Monday evening, September 1, that they had still not located 13-year-old Emily, 16-year-old Logan, and 12-year-old Talisha, who are believed to be together and have been missing since Sunday, August 31. All three are from Pontypridd, Wales, and concern for their welfare is intensifying as hours pass without any confirmed sighting. Officers believe the trio could have gone camping and may now be in or near Abercynon. The force is continuing efforts to track them down as appeals grow for information.

Emily is described as 5ft4 inches tall with shoulder-length blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing black leggings, a white crop top, a hoodie, and a purple jacket over the top. Logan is reported to be 5ft11 inches tall and was last seen dressed in a black tracksuit and black trainers. Talisha is around 5ft tall, has long brown hair, and was wearing a black puffer jacket and black leggings when she was last seen.

Their disappearance has prompted urgent appeals across the community, with officers urging anyone who might have seen them or who has information about their whereabouts to come forward immediately.

DEMAND ACTION FOR MISSING PEOPLE

Too many missing people are falling through the cracks – harmed while away, and ignored when they return.

We need a proper government strategy led by the Home Office, Education, and Health departments to stop this crisis.

Right now, there’s no real support. People go missing again and again – yet no one’s asking why.

We’re calling for:

  • A new national strategy for missing children and adults
  • Proper support for missing people when they return
  • Investment to stop people going missing in the first place

At 10,000 signatures, the government has to respond. At 100,000, it will be debated in Parliament. That’s our goal – real action.

You can help by signing our petition here.

Posting under the title ‘MISSING’ on social media, South Wales Police urged members of the public who may have seen the teenagers to make themselves known. The force wrote on X: “Have you seen Emily, 13, Logan, 16, and Talisha, 12, who are believed to be together?

“They are from the Pontypridd area and have been missing since Sunday (August 31). They may have headed towards Abercynon to go camping.” South Wales Police also have a live chat function on their website to report any sightings.
