Venezuela Fury shared that her fiancé was anxious about seeking her father’s blessing, while her family stands firmly behind the young couple
Tyson Fury’s daughter Venezuela has opened up about her engagement, revealing that her fiancé, Noah, 18, was “all kinds of nervous” about asking her father for permission to propose.
Paris Fury surprised fans last month by sharing a video of Noah popping the question at Venezuela’s glamorous 16th birthday party. Venezuela admitted she was “very shocked” but called it “probably one of the best moments of my life.”
She explained that approaching her father, the former heavyweight champion, was understandably intimidating. “I think any boy would be scared of my dad. But it’s the respectful thing to do.
“He said he was having palpitations about doing it, he was all kinds of nervous,” she told The Sun. “It went well, though. My dad wouldn’t interfere, he’s very supportive of whatever I do. He’s very happy for us.”

Venezuela added that Noah and Tyson share a common interest in boxing. “He does boxing on the side. It’s something for them to talk about. They haven’t trained together, so maybe they will now.”
The family follows the “old-fashioned tradition” of seeking a father’s blessing, something Tyson had done with Paris before proposing to her at 17.
However, Venezuela has yet to meet Noah’s parents, as the couple live a few hours apart and see each other only on weekends. Wedding planning will wait until that meeting happens.
Noah’s mother, Kathleen Price, spoke to the Daily Mail about the family’s excitement as she said that everyone is delighted with the engagement news.
“We’re all really happy, they’re a wonderful young couple who have a bright future ahead of them. They’ve known each other for about a year, Noah was 17 when they met and Venezuela was 15, so there’s only two years between them,” she said.
Kathleen added that the couple is expected to live with the family after marriage. “We’ve got some space at the back of the yard and we’ve applied for planning permission to build on land we have just behind it.
“We’d like to build them their own home and have them both live here among the family when they tie the knot,” she added.
Paris defended her daughter’s engagement on This Morning, noting Venezuela is following her footsteps.
“She’s very young, [but we don’t] worry at all. Venezuela is so mature for her years. I know she’s young, but I think she’s found the person that she loves, and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.”
She added, “I was 17 when I got engaged, so she’s obviously following in my footsteps, and how could I judge her in any which way?”
