The surreal minds behind TV’s Shooting Stars Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer have reportedly spoken about joining forces once more for a one-off Wembley show in the wake of Oasis’ lucrative reunion tour announcement
Vic Reeves says he and 90s comedy partner Bob Mortimer are looking at reuniting.
He revealed they have discussed doing a “one off show” at Wembley Stadium. And Vic, 65, believes tickets could be a reasonable £30.
He said: “I’ve spoken to him [Bob]. And he’s going, ‘I don’t know.’ Because he likes fishing and I like bird watching. It would be great to do something though.”
Speaking at the Sky Arts awards, Vic continued: “We wouldn’t do Shooting Stars, we’d probably do all the other stuff. I hope we do something together. I think we will.”
It comes after Liam and Noel Gallagher ended a 15-year feud for an Oasis tour next year with controversial ticket prices at Wembley.
Vic and Bob, who starred on game show Shooting Stars, never fell out. But Vic said: “We never speak much.”
Vic is now in Painting Birds with wife Nancy on Sky Arts. Bob is in Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing on BBC2.
