Vicky Pattison returns to screens on Tuesday in a new Channel 4 documentary, Vicky Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tape almost 14 years after rising to fame on Geordie Shore in 2011
Vicky Pattison takes to screens tonight as she stars in new Channel 4 documentary, Vicky Pattison: My Deepfake Sex Tape. In the doc, Vicky leaked her own deepfaked sex tape, something she has recently defended.
It comes almost 14 years after the star rose to fame, beginning her career in the Geordie Shore house in 2011. She was an original member of the hit MTV series, before leaving in 2014.
Since then, the star went on to have a huge career in TV, catapulted by her win on I’m A Celebrity in 2015. This led to many more TV appearances, including six months on the panel of Loose Women.
Fans had seen the star go through many ups and downs in her love life before tying the knot with Ercan Ramadan last year in a lavish wedding. Most famously her engagement to fellow Geordie Shore star Ricci Guarnaccio. The couple got together in 2012, during series 2 of the hit show, and it wasn’t long before he popped the question during a vacation to Mexico. However, things came crashing down a year later with Ricci asking for his engagement ring back and leaving the show.
It was six years later until Vicky met the love of her life, and now husband, Ercan Ramadan. The pair began dating in 2019 and three years later, Vicky revealed Ercan had popped the question whilst on holiday to Dubai. “I choose you and I’ll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat… It’ll always be you. To our forever @ercan_ram,” she penned on Instagram.
Last August, the couple tied the knot in their first ceremony in London’s iconic Marylebone Town Hall ahead of their epic Italy wedding extravaganza. During the legal ceremony, the pair were surrounded by 150 of their loved ones before celebrating again a month later in Italy.
The celebration took place at Castle Elvira in the beachside region of Puglia. Taking to Instagram a week after the big day, the former Geordie Shore star wrote: “I have honestly never felt happiness like it – the most special day of our lives.”
The event was also documented for her two-part E4 series, Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding which also let viewers inside the prep of the two big days.
As well as letting fans in on the great moments of her life, Vicky has also let followers in on her struggles too. The star has been open about her struggles with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), a condition that causes physical and emotional symptoms before a menstrual period.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain last month, Vicky expressed: “My experiences when I went to discuss my symptoms were horrendous. For years, for five years I was dismissed, I was made to feel ashamed… for the majority of the time it was men.
Opening up further on social media, Vicky revealed that the condition had “affected my relationships, work and quality of life.
“At times, it made me feel like I was going insane- I just do not recognise myself for 2weeks of the month & ever so gradually- that time frame is becoming longer- & sometimes, when I’m proper in the midst of this & totally consumed by my own dark thoughts I convince myself that I’m never going to get better.. that these feelings & thoughts aren’t temporary. That this is who I am now. And that terrifies me.”
