Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham celebrated her latest birthday earlier this month – and fans have been sent wild by seeing the star with her sister in a photo
Fans of Victoria Beckham were left thrilled when her rarely-seen sister Louise Adams shared a snap of them together to mark the Spice Girl icon’s latest birthday. On Thursday, the 2 Become 1 singer turned 51 and received plenty of comments and notes of celebrations from her friends and family.
Among those paying tribute to Vicky was her sister Louise, 53, took to Instagram to post a snap of them sitting at a table together and enjoying some won. Praising her younger sister, Louise wrote: “Happy birthday @victoriabeckham have an amazing day.”
Fans were stunned to see the pair posing together – with their family resemblance clear for all to see. One shocked follower wrote: “Twinning,” while a second commented: “Lovely picture, two peas in a pod.”
A third follower also lavished the pair with praise, taking to the comments to simply write: “Beautiful sisters.” While another commented to brand the sisters: “2peas in a pod.”
While Victoria and her former footballer husband David Beckham have enjoyed a long and happy marriage, Louise’s romantic life has not been as stable. Back in the mid 2010s, Louise was left heartbroken as she worked through the end of her second marriage.
The Stop singer, however, provided a shoulder to cry on – with reports at the time revealing how close the two siblings are. A source told The Sun at the time: “Victoria has been Louise’s rock over the past few weeks.
“They’ve always been there for each other as sisters and it’s one of the reasons she wanted to spend as much time as possible in the UK since returning from Los Angeles.”
That same month, Victoria had shared a gushing tribute to her sister to mark her birthday that year. The designer wrote in an online post: “To my wonderful sister on her birthday. You are a wonderful mother and beautiful friend x I love u x Victoria.”
Louise was married to a former broker named Darren in December 2009 with the pair swapping vows at a registry office, with only their mothers as witnesses. But the marriage was derailed just five years later amid reports of business issues for Darren.
Mum-of-four Louise had been married before to a mobile phone company owner named Hayden Isted. This marriage also ended after five years.
Victoria recently opened up that she hopes to keep her family life more private – after giving fans excessive access to her home live via social media and documentary films. She recently told Harper’s Bazaar: “You have to go through those times to make you, ultimately, who you are.
“We’ve kind of figured out how to be quite discreet, which is just how we want to conduct our lives right now. I suppose it used to be fun to go out and be chased by paparazzi walking down Bond Street – and you would dress knowing you were going to get that. I don’t want that any more.”
She added: “I’ve been doing this too long. I suppose I did when I was growing up but, nowadays, there’s just too much going on; too busy; too many kids to worry about. I woke up at 50, and I gave a s*** less.”
