A shocking video has emerged showing a woman ripping off a bin lorry’s windscreen wipers before swinging at crew and attempting to climb into the cab. The incident, which took place on Thursday (August 28) in Camden, London, shows her aggressively confronting the vehicle and its workers.
Eyewitness Amin Mohammed, 28, filmed the bizarre scene and explained that the woman became irate after the lorry beeped at her to move out of the road. She then started shouting at the crew, yanked off the windscreen wipers and tried to clamber into the driver’s cab.
As the situation escalated, she was shoved to the ground by one of the workers. After picking herself up, the woman swung a punch at one of the workers, who appeared to retaliate with a slap. Amin, a London resident, said: “Everyone around me watching was so shocked at her behaviour.
“I had seen the barriers opening for the lorry to come through as I walked up and spotted the woman walk out onto the street and just stay there.
“The bin men honked at her to move but she just got angry and started shouting. She started grabbing their wipers, basically vandalising the vehicle, and tried to get to the driver.
“Some people tried to calm the situation but the lady wasn’t listening to anyone. The bin men had to do their best to just ignore her and carried on their work.”
