Virgin Media has updated its TV and broadband plans, complete with new names, prices and benefits – and it’s also made a major change to its streaming offering.
Virgin Media has unveiled a major revamp of its TV packages and is now throwing in a freebie that gives Sky a run for its money. The telecoms giant has updated its flagship TV and broadband plans, introducing new names, prices and perks.
They now start with the £30.99 M125 Fibre Broadband + Flex plan, which offers more than 150 TV channels and 132Mbps fibre broadband on a flexible 30-day rolling contract. This means there’s no long-term commitment needed, but customers may find better value in one of Virgin’s 24-month contracts.
That’s because the company has just rolled out its £36.99 Entertainment bundle, boasting more than 200 channels – including select Sky channels and all the essential free-to-air channels – plus 362Mbps fibre broadband. But the real game-changer is the inclusion of a free Netflix subscription.
Until now, Netflix was only included free with Virgin’s pricier plans. This brings Virgin neck-and-neck with Sky, which already includes Netflix in all its TV packages.
Virgin has also unveiled new plans tailored for film buffs and sports fans, including the £46.99 Cinema bundle and the £66.99 Sport bundle. These offer more than 200 regular channels and either Sky Cinema or eight Sky Sports channels, covering Premier League, Golf, F1 and more, as well as 362Mbps broadband and Netflix, reports the Daily Record.

Virgin Media has refreshed its TV and broadband plans, now starting at £30.99 per month and offering hundreds of channels and fibre broadband.
For those seeking the best of both worlds, the £74.99 Sport + Cinema bundle combines these packages with a faster 500Mbps broadband. The £84.99 Max Volt bundle offers the same but boasts ‘blazing fast’ internet speeds of up to 1,130Mbps.
This package also includes an O2 Classic Plan SIM loaded with unlimited data, minutes and texts, plus roaming in 75 destinations. O2 Extra is also part of the deal, with a choice of Amazon Prime or Disney+ free for three months.
However, there is one catch, as Virgin has tweaked its mid-contract price rise. From April 2026, customers can expect to pay an extra £4 on their bill each month.
This means the £36.99 package will jump to £40.99 from April 2026 and £44.99 from April 2027. Virgin isn’t alone in hiking its prices annually, with Sky raising its TV and broadband prices by 6.2% earlier this year.
Sky hasn’t yet confirmed its 2026 price increase, but it does offer more affordable TV deals for shoppers looking to upgrade without changing their current broadband. Sky’s packages now kick off with the £15 Essential TV bundle.
Its entry-level plan offering more than 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic, something not available with Virgin. Sky also throws in free subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+ with each package, including the popular £35 Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle.
Just bear in mind that Sky states the price of its 24-month contracts ‘may change’ during the minimum term.
