Some of the top football teams across the world are competing in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, a tournament which sees 32 of the globe’s top teams go head to head for the next month. Today, Chelsea FC are set to play America’s LAFC and fans can watch for free with DAZN.

Scores from the kick-off weekend included a huge goal score for Germany’s Bayern Munich as they won 10-0 against Auckland City (Cincinnati). In recent matches, Paris Saint-Germain beat Atlético de Madrid (Pasadena) 4-0.

Brazil’s Botafogo also won 2-1 against Seattle Sounders this past weekend. As one of only two Premier League teams playing in the FIFA World Cup 2025, Chelsea is set to face LAFC tonight at 8 p.m.

It’s part of the Group D matches and is being played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Tonight is also a big night for some Portugal and Argentina fans, as Benfica play Boca Juniors at 11pm, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Fellow UK team, Manchester City, will go up against Wydad AC this coming Wednesday, June 18, with striker Erling Haaland a prolific player to watch. Along with Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane are other global names playing.

Watch the Club World Cup free on DAZN

The FIFA Club World Cup will see 32 of the world’s best club teams including Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich play across 63 games from June 14-July 13.

Fans can watch every match live and for free by signing up to DAZN.

Another great, Lionel Messi drew 0:0 against Al Ahly with his team, Inter Miami. Each game is being broadcast for free on DAZN, as we uncover exactly how to watch for free in the UK.

The 32 teams have been divided into eight groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to the knock-out stages. The victors could pocket up to £97m ($125m) from the total prize fund of £774m ($1bn), which will be distributed among all 32 clubs.

The Club World Cup is set to take place in 12 stadiums across the USA, including New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium and the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, reports the Mirror. This means there will be a time difference for those tuning in from the UK, with some matches set to start in the early hours.

Here, we’ve detailed how to watch every match for free and exactly when the action begins.

How to watch the Club World Cup for free

Fans are able to stream the action if they sign up with DAZN Freemium. There’s also the option to upgrade to DAZN’s ad-free subscription tier from £14.99, which delivers the action with HDR picture quality and Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.

DAZN can be viewed anywhere using the DAZN App on smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, game consoles, streaming devices, and any device with a web browser. For those who don’t want to sign up for another subscription, DAZN has also sublicensed select fixtures to Channel 5, meaning 23 games will be broadcast on both DAZN and 5. This may be a good option for less tech-savvy football fans who are not bothered about every game.

Anyone wanting an alternative paid subscription could consider Sky Sports, which can be purchased for £35 a month for a 24-month contract alongside essential Sky TV. This includes nine dedicated channels, including the Premier League, Football, Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL, NBA, Netball and much more, though the length of contract may be a downside for some.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 final

The first match of the Club World Cup kicked off on Sunday, January 15, between the Egyptian team Al Ahly and MLS’ Inter Miami at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. For Premier League fans, here are Chelsea and Man City’s group stage fixtures.

Premier League fans will get to watch Chelsea FC and Manchester City compete for the first time in the cup this week. The cup runs for just under a month, with the final set to take place on Sunday, July 13.
