People have said they get ‘overwhelming attention’ when people catch the scent that’s currently on offer
Superdrug shoppers could make a serious saving on an iconic perfume brand that has a smell shoppers have “fallen in love” with. Most can’t tell it’s not the more expensive original.
The Mugler Alien Eau De Parfum Hypersenses “boosts the original Alien’s signature solar jasmine sambac into an overblooming revelation”. The fresh take on a popular scent could be just what shoppers on a budget are looking for.
A 30ml bottle starts at £40.20, down from £67. The current deal with Superdrug makes buying two 30ml bottles cheaper than picking up just one bottle with 60ml (£85, down from £95).

Dozens rated the perfume a flawless five stars, with many claiming it was “perfect in every way.” One said: “I fell in love ever since the first time I tried it. I am very impressed with how long it lasts on the skin and how amazing it smells. The bottle looks super cute on my vanity as well.”
Another added: “This is sweet and I get so many compliments when I wear it!” A third wrote: “I’m obsessed with the bottle design, and the scent is amazing. It will last for a while, so there’s no need to reapply.”
Someone else’s review read: “The smell stays on all day; it also stays on clothes for days after! Although it’s long-lasting, it’s not overly strong.” A fifth person shared: “This scent smells literally like heaven and turns heads! Prepare for the overwhelming attention!”
However, a few customers were less than happy with their product. One claimed: “So disappointing after I’ve worn the original for years and literally everyone compliments it. The new one is like you’ve got no perfume on after an hour – if that! Such a waste of money!”
But another warned: “The smell is just overwhelming and not in a good way. It instantly makes my head hurt and I would not go out of my way to purchase this!” A third added: “I did not like this smell at all. I feel like it smells very old ladyish!”
