KSI and the Sidemen are play at Wembley this weekend as they welcome YouTube stars such as IShowSpeed from around the world to grace England’s national stadium and raise money for charity
It may not be an international break, play-off weekend or FA Cup final but Wembley is set to be packed to the rafters on Saturday afternoon.
YouTube group the Sidemen, which includes new Britain’s Got Talent judge KSI, will be gracing the turf of the national stadium for their annual charity match as they lead a team to take on some YouTube Allstars. This weekend sees the first time the match as been played at Wembley, having previously found its home at West Ham’s London Stadium, Charlton’s home The Valley and Southampton’s St Mary’s.
The stadium is sold out for the event as 90,000 tickets were snapped up in just three hours. Fans will be hoping to be entertained after the last three matches ended 8-5, 8-7 and 7-1, with the Sidemen prevailing each time.
Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has officiated the last two charity matches from the group. They last played in September 2024 when they raised more than £2million for CALM, Teenage Cancer Trust, Rays of Sunshine and M7 Education.
On this occasion, the group are raising funds for Children in Need and Bright Side, a grant making charity set up in 2023 by the Sidemen. It hopes to support charities and organisations that help people find a safe place to call home and help young people access education and opportunities.
