Aston Villa’s UEFA Champions League campaign hangs in the balance as they face Paris Saint-Germain once again tonight. The Villans host the French champions at Villa Park in the second leg of their quarter-final clash, with Villa trailing 3-1.

Last week’s fixture saw Unai Emery’s side resigned to playing much of the game on the back foot, as PSG dominated with 75% possession and forced Villa deep into their own half. But as any football fan knows, a game a can quickly turn on its head in one special moment.

Morgan Rogers’ first half goal – which came completely against the run of play – provides fans with a glimmer of hope and gives the team something to build on going into tonight’s game. They face a tough task though, with PSG boasting some stellar young talent including 19-year-old Désiré Doué, who impressed in the first leg.

After the game, Rogers said Villa ‘have the quality’ to turn things around and ‘just have to go for it’ tonight. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: “[PSG are] a really good team who are well organised.

“We’ll throw everything at them to win the tie, we’ve got nothing to lose. No one had us to win, we have to just go for it. We’ve got the quality to turn this around. It’s not done yet.”

The team that secures an aggregate win tonight will set up a semi-final clash against Arsenal or Real Madrid, with those sides playing again on Wednesday. Unlike the first leg, Aston Villa vs PSG will not be broadcast on TNT Sports, but there is a way to watch the game completely free.
