Sam Vanderpump, who has been in realty show Made in Chelsea since 2024, proposed to Alice Yaxley – and the model, who has more than 26,000 fans on Instagram, said “yes”
He only met Alice Yaxley six months ago but already reality star Sam Vanderpump has popped the question.
The model said “yes” – and so their whirlwind romance accelerates to a new speed. As she spoke to The Mirror, wearing her sparkling engagement ring, Alice smiles warmly. She said: “We’re both on cloud nine at the moment”.
But who is the woman whom has made Sam, 24, so incredibly happy and so quickly? The Mirror offers a potted biography of Alice, who phoned for an ambulance when Sam “got really, really ill” at the end of last year. The reality TV star was eventually diagnosed with sepsis, and is hugely grateful for Alice’s unwavering support.
Alice prides herself on being “straightforward” – a quality Sam is sure helped save his life when he became “delirious”. His 23-year-old partner didn’t hesitate to call 999 and, doctors say, had his symptoms been ignored for much longer, he wouldn’t have survived.

But it is indeed a wedding – not a funeral – the Made in Chelsea gang can now expect. The whirlwind romance is documented in the new series of Made in Chelsea as Alice, a fashion model, features in the show.
Sam was single in series 28 but since met Alice. The latest season, which started on Monday on E4, will go on to show the young couple become inseparable. It initially depicts the newcomer meet Sam through mutual friend Reza Amiri-Garroussi.
Viewers get a glimpse of Alice Yaxley, the model. She has worked with ASOS and Motel Rocks and has been lucky enough to travel the world for work, having modelled in China and Bali. Yet, it’s a Chelsea chap to whom she is drawn in the reality TV series.
With more than 26,000 fans on Instagram – @lifeofyaxx – Alice was already catching the eye before the Made in Chelsea treatment. Now, the series will undoubtedly boost the fashion model’s profile. She has the right connections too – friends with the likes of Ruby Adler, American export Lauren Sintès and Tina Stinnes.
Teasing Made in Chelsea fans in promo material before the latest series started, Alice said: “If you say something I don’t agree with, I will definitely call you out on it.” It might be a blessing too, as Sam also doesn’t hold back, particularly when it comes to Tristan Phipps, a co-star with whom Sam had a feud.
Sam confirmed he and Alice will have a long engagement, not tying the not until 2027. Grinning broadly, he told us: “We’re doing some things for the show and a cast celebration. But for the wedding itself, we like the idea of an intimate family wedding abroad, then a big reception party in the UK.”
