Naked man tasered by police in Perth night spot
A young man said to have gone on a naked rampage as people enjoyed a night out has appeared in court.
Video seems to show Puhi Clark running though a popular nightspot in Perth, Australia, while innocent bystanders watched on in shock. The 23-year-old was wearing only his socks during his night time runabout in Northbridge, which caught attention of police.
Several people watched on as he attempted to force his way inside a locked Uber while the stunned driver sat inside, news.au reported. It was earlier reported two police officers – a man and a woman – approached the nude man, before he lashed out at the female cop and injured her face.
He then walked though the street as he taunted onlookers by sticking out his tongue. He was later tasered but continued.
Later, a team of five police officers gained control of the man before he was finally Tasered a second time. He appeared in court on December 1 when he was given bail and a 9pm curfew.
On Friday was charged with disorderly behaviour, obstructing police, assaulting an officer and attempting to steal a motor vehicle. He did not enter a plea but had his bail extended until January 23, 2025 so he could seek more legal advice.
Earlier this year a woman was seen baring all in the street as she stripped naked on top of a car in the middle of a highway. The incident in California, United States, stumped onlookers as they watched on as the nude woman was chased by police along the busy road.
Footage posted to social media showed the pursuit along the I-405 near Culver City, Los Angeles. Two California Highway Patrol cars were seen trying to flag the black SUV down.
The woman’s sudden appearance through the sunroof stunned pursuing officers who watched on as she stripped off her clothing. The 35-year-old woman climbed onto the top of the vehicle, raising her hands in the air before stripping off her grey shorts and white t-shirts.
She proceeded to flash motorists and families driving nearby. Some pulled out their cameras to document the incident and could be heard shouting: “Get it girl, get it girl, get it girl!”. Other motorists were not as pleased by the nude display, with one person heard shouting: “Oh my f***ing God!”.
