Katerine Milagros Juarez Bermudez was arrested after the brutal knife attack on her partner Jose Antonio Pizan Pena, 31, at their home in Pataz, Peru, after which he died
A woman has been arrested for killing her cheating partner by cutting off his testicles as he slept – causing him to bleed to death in agonising pain.
Katerine Milagros Juarez Bermudez was arrested after the brutal knife attack on her partner, Jose Antonio Pizan Pena, 31, in their home, located in the El Bosque neighbourhood of Llacuabamba, in the province of Pataz, in Peru, on 2nd February.
Jose was left to bleed out after Milagros Juarez Bermudez cut off his testicles while he slept. According to police, he rushed outside for help but none of the couple’s neighbours came to his assistance as he screamed – and instead phoned the cops.
Bermudez tried to flee but was stopped by locals who handed her over to police, while the victim was rushed to hospital by the police. The victim had also suffered a deep wound to his left thigh, which had severed a major artery, and he died.
Jose had previously reported his partner for assault but nothing had been done about it, local media said. Bermudez was taken to jail and remains in custody. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
The head of the La Libertad Police Region, General Guillermo Llerena, told local media: “In Pataz there has been an incident that was motivated by passion. A female person has learned that her partner has been cheating on her and she has taken an attitude that is not appropriate, which does not correspond to the fact, and has cut off this person’s testicles.”
It comes after a jealous wife was jailed in May last year for slicing off her husband’s penis and flushing it down the toilet. Daiane dos Santos Farias admitted to luring her husband Gilberto Nogueira de Oliveira to bed for a session of kinky sex in December 2023.
Then when he was tied to the bedposts, she switched off the lights, pulled out a razor, and sliced off his penis, prosecutors told the Atibaia Court near São Paulo, Brazil.
Cook Farias, 34, has since made up with her husband and he even paid for her legal team for the trial. But Judge Roberta Layaun Chiappeta de Moraes Barro jailed her for four years and five months when she pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.
