Dabrionne shared her weight loss journey on TikTok where she shared that she dropped 20lbs in just four months – and the high protein meal she ate to help her get there
A woman who shed an impressive 20lbs in just four months has opened up about her weight loss journey, hoping to inspire others with her personal tips and tricks.
“Remember that everyone’s bodies are different and that’s okay”, @dabrionne advised, adding that “consistency” was the key factor in her transformation. She urged folks to tweak their diets as a first step, revealing that “Limiting my carb intake is what works for me” – although she confessed that initially trying to eliminate carbs completely only led to misery. Dabrionne revealed that first and foremost, she “stopped overeating” to achieve her goals.
In a video where she’s seen chopping veggies and seasoning salmon, she explained: “At the beginning of my health and fitness journey I tried to cut out carbs altogether but my body was like ‘No girl, you need that fuel’ so I was like ‘I’ll cut them out at night’.”
She admitted her fondness for pasta and dairy, but due to lactose intolerance causing bloating, she knew she had to consider these preferences carefully while planning her meals. “I was just not doing what my body needed me to do so I did a test run of veggie and protein dinners and that was a game-changer”, she divulged, as viewers watched her sprinkle spices on vegetables, transforming them into caramelised treats.
“I fell in love with the gym, and I changed my diet, and consistency is definitely the best recipe”, she beamed, showcasing her garlic-infused salmon dish loaded with veggies.
In response to her post, one follower shared: “I’m on the same tack. 6 pounds down in 5 weeks, slow and steady. I like carbs once per day!” To which she responded: “I’m rooting for you!”
Another fan chimed in: “I’m 15 pounds down in 1 month. It is not easy but consistency is definitely key. I’m definitely about to go make this meal”.
