‘Wonderful’ digital memorial can help grieving loved ones through ‘difficult time’

By staff3 April 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

GUESTPIX’s Digital Memorials allow families and friends to celebrate a loved one through the memories of those who knew them best.

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is an emotionally charged journey, and collating memories to commemorate their life can be daunting. But this can be simplified thanks to a leading digital photo and video platform that aims to make the process easier for grieving families.

GUESTPIX’s Digital Memorials offer a unique way for families to honour and celebrate their dearly departed through the shared memories of those who knew them best. With this, relatives, friends, and acquaintances can upload photos, polaroid, videos, and heartfelt messages to a dedicated online gallery.

Creating a digital gallery is said to take minutes to set up, after which a dedicated QR code can be shared with others, allowing them to contribute their own snapshots to the online collection. The slideshow feature can be utilised during the service, showcasing cherished memories as a tribute to the deceased.

Digital Memorial packages are available from £27 for a small gallery, which includes a slideshow, unlimited photo uploads, and a guestbook, in which visitors can leave messages of love and support. Plus, you can view, download, and keep every memory in high-quality resolution, reports the Manchester Evening News.

GUESTPIX’s £37 medium package is the most popular choice, while the £77 large package is recommended for multiple events and services. The brand also offers the £137 extra-large package for larger events.

GUESTPIX offers the ideal way to celebrate a lost friend or family member, with a range of digital memorials available that can be filled with shared memories.

Similarly, MyAlbum allows users to create and share photo books and albums. The basic version is free, whereas the Premium option is £5.99 monthly, with an app available for Apple and Andriod users.

Another alternative is Photobox, where users can capture moments with a range of quality photo books created for every special occasion. The site currently running a half price deal, with prices for a small album costing £4.99 – down from £9.99 – until April 7.

But GUESTPIX has received some rave reviews, as one customer said: “GUESTPIX was the perfect way to remember my late sister. My friends and family shared their favourite photos and we had a laugh and a cry remembering the good times. My auntie had some real classics from 20 years ago that I had never seen before.”

Not just for sombre occasions, GUESTPIX’s Digital Memorials can jazz up celebrations like weddings too. One customer said on Instagram: “Loved loved loved my GUESTPIX experience. Their customer service is speedy and top notch. I highly recommend.”

However, some users have found uploading images in bulk a bit sluggish, so a strong Wi-Fi signal is recommended when sharing photos on the service. On Facebook, another happy customer said: “I love GUESTPIX. I have been using it for a few years now, and it works wonderfully in involving everyone in the photo process.”

Warwick Groves, CEO of GUESTPIX, said: “Finding photos in old albums, across social media and different devices can be overwhelming during a time of grief. Our technology makes it easy to gather, organise, and share these irreplaceable memories from family and friends during a difficult time.”
