Manchester United are one of several clubs that are said to be interested in signing teenage Real Madrid forward Endrick on loan during the winter transfer window
Xabi Alonso has suggested he would be reluctant to allow Endrick to depart Real Madrid. Manchester United are among the clubs reportedly keen on securing the 19-year-old on loan when the January transfer window opens.
However, they are said to face competition from Juventus, Newcastle United and West Ham United, who are all reputedly monitoring the situation. French publication L’Equipe claims Marseille are also tracking the teenager as a potential replacement for Amine Gouiri and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations this winter.
Endrick himself is reportedly eager for a temporary switch in pursuit of regular first-team football if his circumstances at Real Madrid remain unchanged. He has his sights set on securing a spot in Brazil’s World Cup squad for next summer.

Following an injury that ruled him out of the opening five fixtures across all competitions, the striker has remained an unused substitute for the previous six matches. That means he is yet to feature for the club this campaign.
Alonso has now responded to enquiries regarding the prospect of Endrick departing on loan in January. Yet he appeared to suggest that he would prefer to retain him within his squad.
“Endrick on loan? We’re not at that point yet,” he told reporters at a press conference ahead of Madrid’s Champions League clash against Juventus.
“The competition in attack is intense. We have to be prepared for every game. Endrick, Gonzalo, and Brahim have to be ready.
“They’re going to come in, and have to be ready. This is the elite, and we need a lot of good players.”
Endrick’s yearning for more time on the pitch, and his evident frustration at not receiving it, was displayed over the weekend, as reported by Spanish publication AS. The forward was said to be noticeably upset when he was an unused substitute during the 1-0 victory against Getafe on Sunday.
Kylian Mbappe’s goal in the 80th minute secured the 1-0 win, with Getafe eventually down to nine men. Endrick is said to have kicked a bottle in anger on the bench when both Brahim Diaz and Gonzalo Garcia came onto the pitch ahead of him in the 86th minute of the match.
The forward will be hoping for his first appearance of the season when Real Madrid face off against Juventus at home in the Champions League group stage on Thursday night.
