With cosy season upon us, it might be time to think about switching your perfume for one that suits the autumn and winter seasons – and I’ve picked out a stellar selection to tempt you.
I always prefer to wear a lighter, brighter or sunnier scent in summer, but once winter comes around I instead reach for richer, warmer, cosier perfumes to comfort me in the colder months. These are the new fragrance launches for autumn and winter 2025 that has totally won me over…

Best perfumes for autumn 2025
AERIN Amber Musk Vanille Eau de Parfum Spray
£110 for 50ml from Estée Lauder
This grown-up gourmand is a limited edition twist on AERIN’s bestselling Amber Musk, and a new firm favourite for me. With vanilla fragrances everywhere nowadays, the amber in this one stops it from being too cupcakey, but it’s still as warm and nuzzly as you’d want from an autumn scent.
Jo Loves Rose & Dates A Fragrance Parfum
From £82 for 50ml from Space NK
If the chilly weather has you dreaming of warmer climes, this perfume transports you to the streets of Marrakech. Inspired by founder Jo Malone’s travels around Morocco, it carries the essence of fragrant orange blossom, rose, and rich, sticky dates. Even if you’re not typically a fan of rose scents, give this one a try – it’s sweet yet rich and exotic.
Marc Jacobs Perfect Absolute Eau de Parfum Spray
From £76 for 30ml from The Perfume Shop
This latest Marc Jacobs offering is here to get us warmed up for party season. A real diva of a perfume – and the Perfect fragrance line’s most intense offering yet – this is a heady combination of caramelised fig, jasmine absolu and rich amber, and makes an excellent night-out scent.
Lancôme La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude Eau de Parfum
Currently from £55.20 for 30ml from Lookfantastic (usual price £69)
Lancôme’s La Vie Est Belle gets a sweet and creamy update for autumn. Its white floral notes still take centre stage, here paired with new glazed Bourbon vanilla, musks and sandalwood accords into a light and joyful concoction.
PHLUR Cherry Stem Eau de Parfum
£99 for 50ml from Space NK
A fruity fragrance wouldn’t normally be my first choice, but this took me by surprise. It’s sexy, sophisticated and boozy thanks to notes of orange brandy, caramel and leather. Think maraschino cherry garnishing a Manhattan cocktail sipped by the fire in a wood-panelled lounge. I’ve already spotted comparisons to Tom Ford’s much pricier cherry perfume.
Solférino Coup De Foudre Quai Voltaire Eau de Parfum
From £140 for 70ml from Selfridges
Named after a French idiom meaning ‘love at first sight’, so Google Translate tells me, this effortlessly cool EDP from niche Parisian fragrance brand Solférino is inspired by a stroll along the Seine on an unexpectedly sunny afternoon. It has an amber, woody scent with top notes of bergamot and jasmine, and a lingering base of tonka bean and patchouli.
Le Monde Gourmand Chai Épicé Eau de Parfum
£24 for 30ml from Lookfantastic
Much like a steaming chai latte served in your favourite mug, this scent is creamy and comforting with a discernible note of cinnamon running through it. If you like perfumes that smell as mouthwatering as they sound, bargain fragrance brand Le Monde Gourmand is well worth checking out.
Never Fully Dressed 001 Eau de Parfum
£69 for 100ml from Never Fully Dressed
Fashion brand Never Fully Dressed recently expanded into perfumes, and I’m really impressed by them. This one features some of my favourite fragrance notes for this time of year – black pepper, coffee, tobacco and sandalwood – balanced by fruity florals of bergamot, rose and plum to create a sultry scent.
