Adele shares golden rule for losing 7 stone without the need for dieting

By staff21 October 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Adele has been wowing fans with her incredible weight loss transformation since 2020 – and the singer has now revealed the two golden rules she followed to shed the pounds

Pop sensation Adele has been captivating fans globally since her stunning debut with the album 19 in 2008. However, it’s not just her soulful and often heart-wrenching vocals that have left fans in awe.

In 2020, the Tottenham-born songstress stunned followers when she shared a photo of herself on Instagram, showcasing a weight loss of around 100 lbs – over seven stone. In the post, shared a day after her 32nd birthday, the ‘Easy on Me’ singer penned: “Thank you for the birthday love.

“I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time. “I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives!

You are truly our angels 2020 okay bye thanks x”.

So, what was her secret?

As it turns out, quite straightforward: a consistent routine of exercise, including weights, hiking, boxing, and cardio, without any restrictive diets, reports Surrey Live.

Speaking to British Vogue in November 2021 about her initial motivation, she revealed: “It was because of my anxiety”.

“Working out, I would just feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone

“I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.”

The 37-year-old’s routine included weightlifting in the morning, hiking or boxing in the afternoon, and cardio in the evening. However, she revealed that shedding pounds was just one of the many benefits of her newfound fitness regime, which she adopted amidst the breakdown of her marriage.

“I needed to get addicted to something to get my mind right,” she explained. “It could have been knitting, but it wasn’t.”

The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ singer also dismissed any rumours about using a fad diet for her transformation.

In her interview with Vogue, she stated: “You know 100% of the stories written about me have been absolutely fake,” adding that she hasn’t “done any diet”.

“No intermittent fasting,” she clarified. “Nothing.

“If anything I eat more than I used to because I work out so hard. “.
