An abandoned 10-bedroom mansion is available for £900,000 and features four floors and a working life, as well as creepy graffiti drawn over some of its walls

An abandoned mansion which once boasted 10 bedrooms as well as a lift taking people to its four floors is now plastered in disturbing graffiti.

The once great home’s windows are boarded up and the back garden has been left to be overgrown. Adding to the feeling of neglect, its walls are covered in bizarre scrawls.

In one image, there is a painting of gravestones with dates marked from the year 1733 to 2023. In another room, there is a painting of a huge millipede wrapping around the walls.

Another has a feature wall with the words ‘bite back’ written all over it in a pinky red font. The abandoned home is on sale for £900,000.

Purplebricks, which listed the property, stated: “Wow what a property, a ten bedroom detached property on a huge plot that has so much potential for investors, developers, first time buyers, young professionals and families looking for a great project.

“The property currently has planning permission for three one bed apartments and four two bed apartments.

“This property is spread over four floors including a workable basement. The property has a lift to all floors.”

Buyers will also have access to a large garden area that has plenty of potential. With a £900,000 price tag buyers will need to invest another huge wedge to transform this building from a squatters spot to a wholesome home.

Earlier this month, pictures were shared of a spooky” asylum dating back more than 150 years after it was abandoned in 2017. The plaster is shown peeling off the ceiling and walls in chilling photos of the Argyll District Asylum, a portion of the ceiling has fallen in, mould is growing in hospital rooms and windows, and furniture is broken and strewn about.

The place is so forbidding it looks like a haunted asylum straight out of a horror movie, and an eerie dentist’s examination chair in the middle of a room only adds to the hospital’s melancholy vibe.
