AJ rocked a denim two-piece from Marks & Spencer while presenting the new ITV series Dress The Nation

ITV’s all-new Dress The Nation made its debut earlier this month with presenters AJ Odudu and Vernon Kay at the helm. The show follows the search for Marks and Spencer’s next big fashion designer, and with the high street giant being a focal point, of course AJ wore a stunning M&S outfit.

The double denim ensemble features the High Waisted Crease Front Flared Jeans priced at £39.50 and available in sizes six to 22. The jeans, which come in multiple lengths – petite/short, regular, and long – have been paired with a stylish indigo boxy shacket, which AJ wore with elegant gold jewellery and black heels.

As reported by the Liverpool Echo, the exact boxy jacket worn by AJ on the show isn’t available on the M&S website. We’ve done some digging and discovered a couple of fabulous alternatives that will allow you to channel AJ’s look.

Marks and Spencer has a similar Pure Lyocell Denim Relaxed Shirt for £49.50 that has contrast rust-coloured stitching, while this In The Style Denim Shirt costs £28 and boasts statement buttons. Over on AJ’s and Marks and Spencer’s Instagram pages, AJ can be seen wearing the double denim ensemble.

M&S penned: “AJ in double denim? It’s a vibe. Shop her debut look from Dress the Nation now.” The presenter’s followers evidently couldn’t contain their excitement, flooding the comments section of her post with compliments.

One declared: “She just looks stunning in anything.” Another commented: “This double denim situation” followed by the flame and hands raised emoji. Someone else wrote: “Rocking the double denim.”

It’s not only the full outfit drawing praise, with the jeans alone garnering rave reviews for their flattering bootcut style and comfort. Earning a 4.7-star rating from over 64 shoppers, the jeans are celebrated for being stylish yet comfy.

One shopper said: “Love these jeans. They look great with boots and are very flattering while being really comfortable.”

Someone else is so delighted with their purchase they’re ‘tempted to get a second pair’, as they explained: “These look good on the hanger. The fit is just right with just enough flare to go over cowboy boots, without looking silly. I’m only 4’11 so the length of my trousers is always an issue. Even ordering the short leg they’re a little too long, but nothing that a quick turn of the hem won’t solve. I’m actually tempted to get a second pair.”

A third customer expressed their satisfaction: “These are the best pair of jeans I’ve bought for such a long time, the fit is brilliant, very stylish, I love them, would definitely recommend”.

Unfortunately one buyer noted a slight inconvenience, stating: “Comfortable high-waisted jeans; but the length seems too long for me. I used to buy M&S trousers before with the correct length marked short. It appears that this product comes in a longer length. So I had to shorten the length myself. I am 5ft tall.”

Others, however, have found the length to be ‘perfect’, with one person saying: “Great fitting pair of jeans. Get loads of compliments when I wear these. Leg length perfect – usually can’t buy Marks’ trousers as too short.”
