‘Outstanding functionality. Very easy instructions to sync it with smartphones. It counts steps, heart rate and sleep performance very accurately’

Amazon’s latest deal offers an “outstanding” smart watch for less than half its usual price, and it’s racking up thousands of five-star reviews. The Ruimen Smart Watch is now £23.99 for a short time – the cheapest it’s ever been, as tracked by CamelCamelCamel.

The watch usually cost £49.99, making you a saving of £26 when you buy it on offer. This watch comes in five chic colours, with a customisable face. It’s loaded with features to simplify your day: call handling, messages and social media connectivity, health and activity tracking, plus much more.

Amazon’s customers have given it a rating of 4.3 out of five stars with more than 8,500 reviews. Some claim it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with top dogs like Apple, Samsung, and Fitbit despite its modest price tag, reports Chronicle Live.

One thrilled buyer gave it a five-star review: “It has so many cool features. You can personalise your screen, change the colours of the font, and there’s a torch on it. It also has various other cool things like a stopwatch, breathing exercises function, phone location, etc. For the price you cannot complain. Does what you need it to and more. So happy I bought it!”

Another customer said: “This smartwatch is truly a bargain! It’s stylish and fits with any outfit. It’s also high quality and looks worth as much as expensive smartwatches.

“Outstanding functionality. Very easy instructions to sync it with smartphones. It counts steps, heart rate and sleep performance very accurately!”

A third remarked: “I am so happy with my new watch – firstly it looks amazing, super classy and very comfortable to wear, can’t even tell I have it on. Secondly I am blown away with all it can do, I mainly wanted it to record my steps for walks but boy does it do more than that! Truly could not be happier with it.”

Another happy shopper said: “The functions rival those of the Fitbit at a much more affordable price. It tracks steps, sleep, heart rate, oxygen levels, calories, and much more. I love the customisable watch face. It’s comfortable, easy to charge, and has a very long battery life. Plus, it looks sleek.”

Some users have expressed disappointment with its performance. One customer said: “Awful purchase. Every time I go for a walk, sure, it records the steps but then “resets” itself to zero the minute I’m in rest mode. Horrible, ugly abrasive strap too. Save your money.”
