Amazon has confirmed that its Spring Deal Days sale will start next week on Friday, March 25. The date has been highly anticipated for the last few weeks, in the last three years we’ve seen a spring sale from the Prime retailer.

The sale officially runs from 00:00 on March 25 up until 11:59pm on March 31, six days of product discounts. Having covered the sale before, our tech shopping team is eagle-eyed when it comes to offers, and we expect to see Samsung, Apple, Ninja, and Shark (to name a few) hit the sale pages.

Ahead of the event, there are already some savings to make the most of, including a range of Amazon’s own devices, as it cuts hundreds of pounds off Fire TVs. Like the 43-inch Omni QLED Series which has had a £230 discount.

Other early discounts include 29% off Google Fitbits – the Inspire 3 is now £59.99 instead of £84.99. A huge saving for Apple fans as the iPad 10th Gen is reduced to £269 and a £271 saving on cordless Shark vacuums. As we round them all up below.

Get £230 off Amazon Fire TVs

A range of Amazon’s own TV range have been discounted, with four models appearing in the sites deals section with the bright red ‘Early Spring Deal’ label. The biggest discount can be is on the 43-inch Omni QLED Series as it drops down to £319.98 from £549.99.

The 55-inch Omni Mini-LED Fire TV is arguably the best quality (out of those on sale) shoppers can find, having launched back in 2024 it’s got Dolby Vision IQ, a 144Hz gaming mode and ambient experience. This is now on sale for £699, reduced from £849.99 but it doesn’t take much to see that the price is a lot higher than other models.

Also in the sale is the 40-inch Fire TV 2 series, a more affordable option for many now priced at £179 – instead of the usual £299 price.

Samsung SmartTag2 and tablets plummet in price

A rival to the AirTag, the Galaxy SmartTag2 has dropped in price – now available for £14.99 instead of the usual £34.99 price for one. This is at the top of our list due to its popularity, as a firm favourite with travellers looking to keep an eye on their luggage this summer. In the last month alone, 5,000 Amazon shoppers have bought it from the site.

An accessory to pop in a handbag or in your check-in suitcase, this device connects to a user’s phone to help track items it’s attached to. And it’s been cut by more than half price in Amazon’s early sale.

‘I’m going on holiday soon, I’ll be purchasing the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2’ said Christopher Harper, our own tech writer as he weighed up the deal. He said: “Tracking devices like the £15 SmartTag2 are a game-changer for Brits can keep keep your mind at ease. This handy gadget is not only durable, with an IP67 rating, making it dust and water-resistant, but it’s also an excellent companion for your travels thanks to its impressive battery life that lasts up to 500 days.

Another Samsung product that caught our eye was the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S Pen bundle. This usually costs £449 but is on sale for £100 less at £349.

Amazon’s best early tech deals

Mobiles and Google Pixel fans can find one of the biggest sales on the Pixel 8a device – this is discounted from an original £449 to £334, a £165 saving. The bigger Google Pixel 9 is also on sale, for £150 less than usual. Another Google product is Fitbit, and the Inspire 3 tracker is now 29% off.

This limited-time deal could suit health and fitness fans, a basic watch to keep track of steps, goals, and gym progress. It’s now 29% off before Amazon’s official spring sale even starts.

Home tech, and cordless vacuums are already selling for a cheaper cost left, right, and centre. Hoover is a brand with discounts, and it includes a discount on the Breeze EVO model. Dyson fans, however, are better off shopping in the brand’s own sale on its site, as Amazon’s prices still seem fairly steep – although this could change when the event officially starts.

For iPhone fans, there is a small but worthy discount on the iPhone 16 model as it drops to £739 from £799 – a saving not offered on Apple’s own site. Moving onto Samsung and Amazon, prices are yet to beat the Galaxy retailer’s own site, so we’d suggest sticking with the generous trade-in deals you can currently get over there – up to £660 off the price if you trade in an older handset.

There’s also a rival standout from retailer mobiles.co.uk as it offers two free Samsung accessories for free for those who buy the flagship S25 Ultra.

Retailer Mobiles.co.uk is handing out two free Galaxy accessories to shoppers who buy S25 ultra plans – offered on iD Mobile contracts.

The only downside is stock is limited, but shoppers can find iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices, laptops and tablets. As well as discount game consoles and homeware gadgets. Amazon Echo Dot and Kindle sales

Amazon’s own devices are expected to launch soon. However, they are not yet live on its site and shoppers will still pay full price. However, the retailer has teased that these are on the way.

In the event confirmation, a spokesperson said shoppers can ‘take advantage of early deals from today’ as they listed the Echo Dot, Kindle, Fire TV, and Ring and Blink security cameras.
