America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry revealed she ‘wept nonstop’ when she first got her breast implants removed

America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry was ‘brought to her knees’ with ‘humility’ when she first had her breast implants removed.

The 42-year-old star won the first season of the popular reality show in 2003. She modelled for the likes of People, Maxim, Spain’s Marie Claire and more. She also appeared on the cover of Playboy in early 2006. The star remained in the public eye and regularly shares updates on her life with fans.

In a post shared on Instagram to her 189,000 followers, she shared snaps of herself in a bright green sports bra and black leggings. In one photo, Adrianne posed by the Christmas tree while another was a mirror selfie. She revealed she cried nonstop in the first year of having her implants removed.

Writing to fans, she said: “5 years post #explant, and I have had a total metamorphosis. The first year, I wept nonstop. Had lost over 90% of my natural breasts to necrosis and refused to get a fat transfer. I wasnt willing to risk my health anymore for vanity. I had a crash course in being humbled and laid bare.

“My husband had to cut out all my stitches, due to our remote living and the weather. I was brought to my knees in humility and came through the fire of my vanity dying. It took a solid 2 years for them to settle and look human. My husband was my rock….and I can’t believe how unbothered he was by my frankentitties.

“I am happy and healthy, and I wouldn’t wish plastic surgery on my WORST enemy. It did nothing to ease my body dysmorphia and only gave me years of suffering.”

She ended her honest post by telling fans to be ‘okay with who and what you are’. “In my case, with a lot LESS of what I was,” she wrote. Fans rushed to the comment section to share their support, with one user writing: “Because once you love yourself and those that legit love u are all that matter.”

“You are just glowing with good health!” another user said while one fan praised her as they shared their own experience: “Got mine out almost three years ago- best decision ever. You had a lot to do with it.”
