‘Antler has managed to bridge the gap between cheap and cheerful and aspirational and expensive by creating a carefully crafted collection that looks great and performs admirably.’

As the weather gets progressively colder and wetter, you might be planning a winter holiday to find some sun. And you’ll want to do so in style – which is why a chic suitcase is a must.

Antler is a popular brand in the world of travel bags and suitcases, and its designs are a celebrity favourite – spotted on the likes of Frankie Bridge. Mirror travel writer Laura McKenna has reviewed a number of Antler’s cases over the years. Writing about the brand, she said: “British heritage brand Antler has managed to bridge the gap between cheap and cheerful and aspirational and expensive by creating a carefully crafted collection that looks great and performs admirably.”

Now, shoppers can snap up a piece of premium luggage at a much more attractive price than normal. The Saturn Cabin Suitcase in teal is currently slashed in price from £155 down to £93 – and that deal is also live on the navy and charcoal colourways. The suitcase clocks in at 40 x 55 x 20cm, meaning it should be suitable for cabin carry-on – although it’s always worth checking with your airline provider before travelling.

Crafted from polycarbonate, the suitcase promises to be light and strong – so it’s easy to wheel through the airport, but can also withstand all the bumps and knocks that come with travel. With an impressive capacity of 35.2 litres, there should be enough room to pack in everything you might need.

While there aren’t any reviews on the website for this specific model, Trustpilot is a great place to go to get a sense of how customers find Antler products. The brand has racked up an impressive 4.5 stars from just over 1,300 reviews.

One happy shopper said of their cabin suitcase: “Lovely suitcase. Beautiful colour well made with good size pockets. Delivery was very quick. Would buy again.”

Another customer enthused: “Antler is one of the most exceptional companies in the world. Their products are phenomenal quality and their customer service is second to none.” While a third said: “Practical, light as a feather, glides along. Lovely colours too.”

However, some customers had some more critical notes about the design of some of the suitcases. “My only thing would be to change the interior lining to not have a zip, but to line the case so as to allow a bit more packing space,” one wrote. “I am not keen on the lock either, which is fiddly to set up and use,” another added.

If you did want to shop around, Tripp’s Escape Navy Cabin Suitcase is currently reduced from £99 down to £42 on Amazon. Or if you’re looking for a soft shell, Debenhams’ Lightweight Khaki Suitcase currently costs £46 (down from £64).
