Amazon has a fantastic Black Friday deal on a four pack of the Apple AirTag

Black Friday is nearly upon us and many retailers have already begun to unveil some fantastic deals. If you’re an Apple enthusiast, the AirTag currently has a significant price reduction on a pack of four AirTags, now just £84.

So if you’ve been frustrated by constantly misplacing your keys, valuables or even your car, the Apple AirTag could be the solution to give you some much-needed peace of mind.

The deal is currently only available on the four-pack, perfect for those who frequently lose multiple items around the house, from your wallet to gym bag or even your pet – yes, attaching it to a pet’s collar has become a popular use for these tracking gadgets.

If you don’t require four of the devices, however, then you can purchase a single AirTag at Amazon for £28. Although keen shoppers will notice this doesn’t offer the same price reduction. We should also inform shoppers that AirTags don’t function unless you own an Apple device. However, there are very affordable alternatives.

If you don’t have an Apple device, the Tile Mate makes finding those elusive items a breeze – and it’s only £9.99. With IP67 water resistance, the Tile Mate also enables users to enlist the assistance of the secure and anonymous Tile Network to locate their items.

If you’re unsure about which to purchase, our tech team at The Mirror conducted a thorough comparison of both the Apple AirTag and the Tile Bluetooth device when our writer jetted off on holiday. Our tech expert Harriet pointed out that the Tile software had some issues with iOS devices. So, if you’re looking for a flawless experience, you might want to consider the AirTag instead.

At the time she said: “This is where the Apple AirTag comes out on top as the best tracker to buy if you can’t decide between that and Tile. Here at Mirror, we’ve backed it thanks to its sleek in-app experiences, precise notifications and the ability to find it on another Apple device (if you share the same Apple ID that is).

“Another huge factor is price. Once you’ve paid for a pack or individual AirTag you won’t face any other costs; free app and no cost to look at the history. Tile however, charge an extra £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year for features which can be done for free on the AirTag.

“Looking at a 30-day history location, and getting a notification to your phone each time you leave without your Tile tracker – something Apple without asking an extra penny for each time I left the villa in France, got in the transfer and checked by bag in at security.”
