More than two weeks have passed since Wales international footballer Aaron Ramsey revealed his dog Halo was missing and he has issued further updates on the reward
Former Arsenal and Juventus star Aaron Ramsey has launched another desperate plea for information on his missing dog Halo, saying “we just want our girl back”. Wales midfielder Ramsey, who now plays for Mexican side Pumas, has also doubled the reward for returning Halo to him and wife Colleen.
“We know Mexican people are good honest and kind and we want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, who has helped us search and prayed for us,” was the message from the Ramseys in social media video. “The support from all over has been heartwarming.”
Anyone with information has been urged to contact animal search and outreach service Petloc. It comes after the footballer shared a photo of the dog on Instagram on Saturday with the caption: “What I’d do to hold you one last time Halo”.
An initial reward of $10,000 was put in place, and this has now been increased to $20,000, per The Mail. “Any news about our Halo please contact us. Big reward for finding her. We are all praying she’s ok and can be back with us soon,” Ramsey wrote on social media. “We just want our girl back”.
Earlier in the month, Colleen also shared a photo, writing: “Please help us find Halo, she was lost in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, in the vicinity of Hipsterrier which is a dog shelter. A reward is being offered. Any information is valuable”.

Ramsey has received countless messages of support since sharing information about Halo. “Don’t give up Aaron, if life is fair to you you’ll see Halo again,” one social media reply read.
“I am so so sorry for you mate,” wrote another fan. “I was in a similar situation once 17 years ago and I still lose sleep over it. all my thoughts are with you and your family, both human and canine. Take care of yourself too.”
Ramsey moved to Pumas, who play in Mexico City, over the summer. He signed a one-year contract with the Liga MX outfit after suffering relegation with boyhood club Cardiff City last season.
He scored the winner against Atlas in just his second appearance for his new club, at the end of August, but has yet to add to the solitary goal. Pumas are winless across their last seven matches to drop to 13th in the Apertura standings and face an uphill battle to make the play-in round at the end of the regular season.
