Asda shoppers have praised a ‘quirky’ and ‘cool’ way to give your plants a home that’s worth showing off to visitors. The store’s new bright and vibrant planters are sure to catch attention this spring and summer.

The Pink Resin Polaroid Planter easily makes a statement on any windowsill or garden patio display. For just £12, shoppers can pick one up from their local supermarket.

The bright pot is shaped like a classic camera and has space to hold flowers, bulbs, and other foliage. It’s the perfect size to plant fresh herbs for your kitchen.

In stores, you can also get Asda’s £15 Radio Planter, which offers almost double the planting space. The bright green boombox-like pot would add just as much character to any space you need to flex your green thumb.

Homeowners and gardeners have been thrilled to see the new planters. Customer Laura Trott posted about them in Facebook’s popular Bargain Lovers group. She said: “Look at these planters from Asda living #retro.”

One supermarket shopper said: “I’d love one but wouldn’t know what one to pick!” Another added: “How cool are they!”

A third wrote: “Oh! Look at how cute these are!” Someone else commented: “They are lovely!” A fifth posted: “Love these. What an instant pop of colour!”

With the weather warming up and Brits braced for the first surge of hot weather in 2025, plenty of people are thinking about sprucing up their gardens. Many stores have great items that don’t need to break the bank.

At Home Bargains, shoppers are racing to snap up the various different styles of solar lights – including whimsical hot air ballons, juicy strawberries and more. Former TOWIE star Gemma Collins also posted a TikTok from a trip to the discount shop and fans could see she had a few sets of the modern-looking stake posts in her trolley.

Meanwhile, Dunelm has also impressed with its garden range too. Shoppers were ‘in love’ with string lights as well as hanging baskets and more.
