The brand-new Baller League returns on Monday evening, as six highly-exciting games unfold during the second match week of the six-a-side competition.
Led by social media sensation KSI, a total of 12 teams will play out each Monday night at London’s Copper Box Arena until June 11, each with hopes of winning the first UK-based instalment of the league which was originally founded by Felix Starck, Mats Hummels and Lukas Podolski in Germany.
Game week one kicked off in exciting fashion, as Twitch star Angry Ginge led his Yanited to a 7-2 win over N5 FC – coached by Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg.
Meanwhile, Maya Jama and Alisha Lehmann’s MVPs United reigned supreme over Clint 419’s FC Rules The World, Sharky’s SDS FC beat John Terry’s 26ers, and rapper Dave led his Santan FC to victory over Luis Figo’s Trebol FC.
Elsewhere, the Sidemen’s Simon Minter saw success with a 3-2 win over Ian Wright and Chloe Kelly’s Wembley Rangers, while Tobi Brown’s VZN FC were handed a 6-3 loss to Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards’ Deportrio.
