Attending Paris Fashion Week over the weekend, Barry Keoghan’s choice of accessory sparked fresh speculation about the status of his relationship with singer Sabrina Carpenter

Barry Keoghan may have just dropped a major hint that he has rekindled his romance with Sabrina Carpenter.

The Saltburn actor, 32, was spotted at Paris Fashion Week over the weekend, attending the Valentino ‘Le meta-theatre des intimates’ show alongside stars like Jared Leto. Barry kept his outfit casual, wearing blue denim jeans, a matching blue bomber jacket, and a light shirt.

However, it was the accessory he wore that sparked speculation among fans. Sitting in the front row, Barry sported a large heart-shaped brooch on his jacket, leading many to wonder if it was a nod to Sabrina, 25.

Sabrina is known for incorporating heart shapes into her outfits and performances, including heart-shaped cut-outs in her dresses and a heart-shaped headboard featured in her performances, such as the controversial one at the BRITs.

Sabrina and Barry broke up because they are both “young and career-focused” and decided to “take a break” to focus on their individual careers, with sources stating their schedules simply didn’t align anymore. Neither Sabrina nor Barry have publicly commented on the reasons behind their breakup, but Saltburn star Barry faced cheating allegations when the pair split.

Irish actor Barry was accused of cheating on Sabrina with lookalike influencer Breckie Hill. The rumours started when the influencer posted Snapchat videos from BOA Steakhouse on the same night that Carpenter performed in Los Angeles. Breckie later released a video addressing the rumors, saying that she’s never homewrecked a relationship and that she hopes people stop spreading rumors.

Meanwhile, Barry took to social media to slam the ‘disgusting rumours’. In December, he hit back to refute the “lies and hatred” being spread about him by internet trolls. “I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don’t respond too. I have to respond now because it’s gettin to a place where there are too many lines being crossed,” he penned.

“I deactivated my [ Instagram ] account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work. The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and every other inhumane thing you can imagine.”

The actor added: “Dragging my character and everything I worked extremely hard for and stand for. Talking about how I was a heroine baby and how I grew up and dragging my dear mother into it also. Knocking on my grannies door. Sitting outside my baby boys house intimidating them. That’s crossing a line.”

“Each and every day I work harder to push myself on every level to be the healthiest and strongest person for that boy. I want to provide opportunities for him to learn, fail and grow. I want him to be able to look up to his daddy, to have full trust in me and know I will have his back no matter what. I need you to remember he has to read ALL of this about his father when he is older. Please be respectful to all. Thank u.”

The Irish star was referring to his two year old son Brando, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Alyson Kierans, a London-based dentist. Barry recently hit back at fans who suggested he was neglecting his son for the Hollywood lifestyle, leaving all parenting responsibilities to Alyson.

It comes after Sabrina found herself in her ex-boyfriend’s homeland of Dublin this week, just months after her split with actor Barry. The blonde beauty couldn’t help but make a subtle dig at her ex while on stage in Ireland. After performing a number of her chart-topping songs including Espresso, Feather, and Taste, Sabrina threw a dig towards Barry before she performed Please, Please, Please – a song she wrote about him.

Speaking to her fans in Dublin’s 3Arena on Monday night, Sabrina joked that Irish boys were ‘hard work’ before she belted out an unforgettable performance to Please, Please, Please as she teased several different costume changes and risqué dance moves – that have cost her Ofcom complaints following her performance at the BRIT Awards on Saturday night. “Dublin, it’s so lovely to be here. You all look and sound amazing. But my goodness, these Irish boys are hard work,” Sabrina teased in an obvious swipe to her ex Barry following their recent split.
