Topshop has hinted at a possible return to the high street, so while we patiently wait for confirmation, we’ve rounded up the best new-in pieces from £30 that are perfect for spring
Topshop has been teasing its return to the high street over the past week on its social media channels, and although nothing has officially been confirmed, the hints have got us very excited.
The brand sadly went into administration in 2020 and was later acquired by ASOS. However, last year, a large stake was bought up by Heartland, a Danish fashion company that hinted at a potential return to high street stores.
So while we patiently wait for an official announcement on what is happening with the iconic brand, we’ve rounded up a few standout buys for spring from the new-in section on ASOS. From butter yellow picks to suede and tailored shirts, shop our current favourites from £30.

Linen Balloon Trouser in Buttermilk
Shop them for £42
As you’ve likely seen, butter yellow is all over the high street this spring and dubbed as spring’s biggest colour trend. So it was no surprise to see the Topshop new-in section filled with shoes, handbags, dresses and more in the buttery hue.
What caught our eye the most was these linen balloon trousers. Ideal for the warmer months, these versatile trousers can be dressed up for office days, chilled weekends and sunny holidays.
Tino Nylon Ruched Tote Bag in Off White
Shop it for £32
An oversized tote bag is a wardrobe essential in our eyes. And this ruched one from Topshop looks like the perfect ‘Mary Poppins bag’ to fit everything you need in. Swap out your usual black work bag for this off-white colour that is perfect for transitioning into the warmer months.
Cinch Waisted Poplin Shirt in Blue
Shop it for £38
Tailoring is always a popular trend, but this year, we’re seeing a lot of cinched-in waists on blazers, shirts and trousers. The best thing about this trend is that it’s a great wait to give the classic button-up shirt a feminine, figure-flattering twist.
Alongside butter yellow, powder blue is set to dominate the high street, making this shirt right on trend for the new season.
Co-ord Satin Scarf Top in Beige with Burgundy and Teal Stripe
Shop it for £30
Matching sets are always a good idea. They don’t require too much effort or planning; simply throw the pieces together and you’ve got a pre-made stylish outfit. This silky striped co-ord can be easily rolled up in your suitcase and is the perfect outfit to throw on and head from the beach to the bar.
Longline Oversized Faux Suede Trench Coat in Contrast Stitch Brown
Shop it for £95
Suede is going to be one of the biggest trends of 2025, already cropping up in the form of jackets, ballet flats, handbags, and more – the list is endless, really. This trend largely took off last autumn during the boho chic resurgence. Suede complements the boho trend perfectly, but this year, we’re seeing it stand out on its own.
This trench is interesting twist on the traditional beige trench we often see, and is the perfect lightweight layer for spring. This is faux suede rather than real suede, but it looks far more luxe than other faux suede trenches, and it’s under £100.
Another brand to drop their spring collection is Marks & Spencer. The high street retailer launched the ‘Love That’ campaign yesterday, and we got a preview of some of the best bits.
