B&M is selling a budget-friendly version of a designer ornament you usually see in celebrity homes, and it’s available at a fraction of the price. The high street giant is a popular destination for bargain hunters and fashion enthusiasts for its wide variety of discounts and affordable prices.

For anyone who enjoys a taste of luxury without the hefty price tag, B&M can be an ideal choice. In its latest lineup of ornaments for the season, shoppers can get an item that looks far more expensive than it really is.

For a few pounds, customers can get an ornament to decorate their homes inspired by the celebrity-loved designer brand Bearbrick. The popular Bearbrick sculptures were launched in 2001 in the style of Japanese toy brand Medicom’s existing collection of humanoid Kubrick figures.

Since then, they have become hugely coveted and exclusive collectables. Celebrities like Justin Bieber, RM from BTS, and Tobey Maguire are known collectors of Bearbrick and other designer toys.

The B&M ornaments are similar in appearance, though they have a considerably smaller price tag. Whilst Bearbrick products can fetch thousands online, B&M is presently selling its own versions for £3. The store’s collection of bear ornaments come in a small size and feature a chrome design.

One Bearbrick sculpture that looks arguably similar to B&M’s version at a glance due to its shape and chrome design is this Amirex Texalium Be@rbrick 1000% figure at Far Fetch, which costs £7,260. A different Bearbrick Superalloy sculpture in chrome on Stock X costs £574.

Another potential lookalike is this Skorter Bearbrick Sculpture Ornament for £112.95. Out of all the ‘lookalike’ designer choices, B&M’s version is incredibly cheap, so fans who enjoy high-end shopping without the price tag can still get a similar look for far less. There are other Bearbrick designs at the likes of Selfridges for up to £650.

The £3 Bearbrick ‘lookalikes’ first launched in B&M stores last year and didn’t go unnoticed by shoppers at the time. On TikTok, one content creator called Fenloninteriors_ uploaded a video of the items on display in her local store.

In the caption, she said: “B&M have launched bearbrick and balloon doggo doope ornaments.” In the comment section, one person replied: “I’ve found another obsession they are amazing.” A second said: “I’ve got the two of them”

Another TikTok user, Justagirlxox0, uploaded a video of her £3 ornament in her house after adding it to a shelf next to a candle. Seemingly pleased with her purchase, she told viewers: “B&M doing bits.”
